... to tag with me to Digital Mall without complains.
My brother. :) It's good to have 4 years on somebody.
I wanted to go there to buy software.
I remembered drawing on this software we had on our first computer (The OLD Apple Macintosh.. back when it was really Macintosh and not just Mac) called Corel Draw.
I discovered since then (it's been probably 10-13 years) they have had many many new programs to use and enjoy.
One of them is called Corel Painter and the other is Corel Painter Sketch Pad.
Now, this Sketch Pad is crazy cool.
It is "designed to leverage the natural flow of a drawing tablet"..
It has a pencil, watercolour brush, acrylic brush, oil brush, marker, chalk, airbrush, eraser, blender, inking pen, pen and a wide variety of art paper to choose from for your surface.
:D And it's all in a VERY neat looking window (Dare I say, neater than Photoshop! Because when you have almost every tool bar open, Photoshop is NOT neat).
I feel like a kid on Christmas.
The best part, unlike Photoshop, you don't have to move the tool windows when it is in your way, the moment you roll over the tool windows while rendering, it disappears. Yes!
(When I compare to Photoshop, note that I'm only comparing colouring using Sketch Pad and Photoshop.. Photoshop is still good for fixing up pictures)
I was extremely happy upon discovering that.
Of course, there is it's down sides.. hard to explain it but if you are familiar with the REAL drawing instruments, it just ain't the same. For example, the marker, the oil brush and the watercolour brush, in my opinion.
I really like the pen and chalk.
I'll let you know about Corel Painter 11 when I try it out.
Currently can't install it. I think my computer needs reformatting.
