... that I can't remember.
It woke me up at 9:59AM sharp.
My alarm rang a minute later at 10AM.
I have alarm clock dreams now. They just need to tune their timing a little. I could've slept that 1 more minute.
I took a shower (didn't wash my hair) and ran out for Masayo-chan.
Took her to Sg. Wang, which we dread by the way, but she had to fix her belt.
Ended up having lunch and she bought a new buckle to replace the unfixable buckle (I told her so).
We went crazy discovering there's a Daiso there. She lives near The Curve and has discovered the fantastic junk shopping one can indulge in in Daiso.
We talked about our past experiences with bands and how we seem to have given up with the crap crowd.
She said "If you are giving up because you're already 21, then what about me?! I'm only 18!"
Then I brought her back home to teach her the basics of the bass.
She said "Feel so 'paiseh'... I don't know if my make up scared your parents or not".
I replied "Don't worry. My Dad and Mum are used to heavy eyeliner and black eyeshadow".
My Mum told me the same thing "I think Dad would be used to it from you".
I say "Thanks". Sure enough, my Dad seemed unfazed. He came up, smiled and said "Hello! Where are you from?" like it was an everyday thing to see your daughter bring home a girl wearing pentagrams on her belt and skulls on her fingers. But I used to do it, so he should've thought as much.
Then I sent Masayo-chan to meet up with her sister in Tesco. (I'd like to have seen the commotion she would've started in Tesco)
On the way home, while stuck in a jam on the LDP at roughly 6:45PM, SJ messages me and asks "What time are you going to Chris'?"
I reply "IT'S TODAY?!"
Damn. Here I was dreaming of a long, hot shower, a couple of minutes hugging Ivan and watching TV and then eating dinner.
I clearly remember marking down the 18th under the word 'Saturday' in my planner so I thought it was tomorrow.
I rechecked my planner and I marked it on Saturday alright, it's just that Saturday is the 19th. Oh, my failing eyes.
So, I called her and told her I'd be late.
Ate my dinner, took a shower, put on the face and I left.
It was the usual people you'd expect at Chris' party.. all the old secondary school people and a few of her college friends. We talked, ate cake... etc. (actually, that's it)
Someone almost got mugged outside her house... the girl was just standing there smoking for a bit.
It kinda freaked us out a little cause the front door was wide open for the world to see.
I'm tired.
