Just read the most disturbing article about how gay men are treated in Iraq.
In my opinion, nobody has the right to kill another man based on what they 'THINK' God would want. 'Think' being the key operative word. Assumptions should not be the basis of a person's actions.
I'm trying hard to not get too emotional about it but it's VERY hard not to.
Left the house at around 1:30PM today to meet Masayo-chan.
Took her to the music store to browse basses (she's thinking of getting one).
As usual, the person there was all 'Oo-er who's the bassist?'
He thought we're still playing until I said "Were playing".
And then he related a story that nearly made me laugh out loud quite rudely. Apparently, he knew a girl-band that were quite heavy and one time their 'session' nearly became a competition. So he played a Slayer tune and the girl played the same tune but better than him.. which made him pissed.
I was about to make a wise crack about him being pissed but thought 'Nah'.. I don't know him.
Then I sent her to the bus station.
Very publicly hugged her in a way other people would've probably thought to be a very 'inappropriate' manner but, heck. I'm used to it.
I like her make-up case. Black, hard, big and very professional looking. (Okay, there was NO intended innuendo in that sentence.. I just realised that that entire sentence could've taken on a WHOLE other meaning if said in a different context. I was referring to her CASE)
This afternoon, I was shocked by the news that Stephen Gately passed away in his sleep. Very sudden as he was ONLY 33 years old. It reminded me of hide.. as hide was also 33 years old. Why is everybody dying this year? I think it's a run-up to 2012.. if the ancient Mayan civilisation is apocalyptically accurate, that's the end of the world. Maybe the deaths are starting now so that it doesn't shock our asses too much if we all suddenly start falling to the floor dying in December 2012.
I really need to get my ass moving on my research. Come tomorrow, there won't be much time.
Matthew Bellamy sings really well.
I love the way he sings the verses in Uprising. *_*
Still loving Aya Kato. I think love is here to stay! And that's saying something as I move on very fast.
