Had a productive day at Kinokuniya. Maybe it wasn't as productive for SJ as it was for me.
I bought the GiGS I ordered and Carlos Ruiz Zafon's The Shadow of the Wind.
I tried looking for Nabokov's Lolita but as expected, it wasn't on the shelf.
Oh, I also tried ordering Chara Selection and so I went up to the Cashier-san and said that and she replied...
She: Uh... um.... is this magazine.... BL?
Me: Yeah (matter-of-factly said)
SJ: *snort*
She: Oh.. if that's the case then it isn't allowed in.
Me: WHY?
She: Because they will stop it and even if they let it through they will tear the pages.
Me: *to myself* Assholes!
Me: But the cover for the January issue is pretty harmless.
She: But they will still stop it.
SJ: WHY are they like THAT?
Me: :(
SJ: She seemed pretty uncomfortable when asking if it was yaoi XD
And that's how it went. You know, I do recall the customs stopping Takaramono.. and we found it on the shelf a few months later.. I wonder if any pages are missing.
Even while I was feasting on my beef pie, SJ was wondering what the HECK their problems are.
Speaking of beef pie, SJ said "Your pie reminds me of Sweeney Todd" so I said "If I find a finger, I'll let you know :D"
I think I grossed her out.
After awhile towards the end of my meal a piece of meat fell out of the pastry and she said "Hey, it fell out" and I went "Oh.. *picks up*.... TOE!" and she gave me a look that could kill.
Then SJ said something about Die and how the fan was blowing at him and I said "Well, I'm a fan and I don't mine blowing XD"... I think she would've walked off if it wasn't for the fact that I drove us there.
Then I perv-ed about Heath again and she said "Why all of a sudden? What happened to hide?" I said "I've never perved about hide.." and anyway, it will be damn wrong to perv about a dearly departed soul.
Then I told her about the Rose of Pain performance where the hologram hide came on.. and I said "I cried like hell!" and she was all "I can see you tearing up now too". LOL. Damn! Usually my tear glands stinge but when it comes to stuff like this, they seem generous.
SJ and I were reading children's books. Particularly, one titled "Piyo supermarket" XD
Oh... damn CUTE.
I was so occupied watching this dude's videos of his cat on YouTube last night.
Oh my GOSH. The kitten was super adorable.
I was clawing at my monitor.
