My Mum showed me this black eggplant-looking thing and said
Mum: Have you seen this before?
Me: No.. what's that?
Mum: It came from the frangipani tree.. I think it's a fruit.
Me: ...
Mum: I've never seen this before.. Maybe our tree is a cross-breed...
Me: ...
Mum: I want to cut it open.
Turns out, that was just the frangipani seed pod.
Not a cross-bred fruit.
My Mum has an imagination.
It looks like an eggplant.
