I opened presents! :D :D :D
Lemme tell you what I got..
As usual, I received a snowman. Hey, I'm not complaining... my Dad is though.
I named him Snowpuff because it's hand-less, leg-less, nose-less and button-less. It reminded me of an ice cone. Mr.Flurries, Snowball, Burrlington, Cole and Socks have all taken very nicely to having a new snowman in their lot. (I think I have more but at the moment my memory fails me).
Then I received a black bunny-ninja!
It's a DooDoll and it goes very well with the pink one Claireeey and the lot bought for me.
Ivan, Baby Ivan, Ivan the Third, Pinky, and Sachiko have NOT taken very nicely to having a ninja bunny in their midst. In fact, I would say they are taking precautions. Setting up forts and stuff.
The best part - BunnyNinja (its name) is black and red :D
I received something really unexpected this Christmas as well.
The Hobbit. By J.R.R. Tolkein.
This one wasn't just the book.
It came with a whole box of stuff. Audio CD with Tolkein narrating the encounter between Bilbo and Gollum, A map.. which was mostly Mirkwood (Legolas fans rejoice.. of which, I am not. :P), postcards bearing illustrations by John Howe (like I'll EVER use them) and of course, the book. Which comes hard-bound... with a very simple and nice black cover.
Upon seeing the name peeping out at me between the wrapper, I exclaimed "Do you REALLY want me to get any geekier than I already am?".. they DO say I'm geeky... ALOT.
I tried NOT to inform them that I could read the runes that decorated the pages or they will think that I am even more of a geek than I already am but I couldn't help it, so I told them. To which they replied "Geek".
I am talking about my sisters.
I try not to classify myself as a geek but rather - a fan!
And just now, while at Digital Mall PJ, I bought more games.
