The one name in gaming...

(Everything from here to the end is seriously my views and my views only. I love the game but I just found this thought of mine funny as heck. Yes, I find myself funny.)

... that you'd hear me say frequently is Sephiroth (FFVII).
You'd hear me rave on and on about how cool his is and how much I wanna *bleeeeeeeeeep* him (Right, Rye-chan?).
So... here are some things about him that I don't always mention...

Note that beneath all that cool, calm, collected exterior is one individual who has no control over his emotions.
He'd be smiling (although, in an evil way) when talking to you.
He barely leaps when fighting.
Hardly ever lets out a battle cry.
But sometimes, he'd go bat-shit crazy and whip your ass into cream.

What is the perfect catalyst for bringing out that uncontrolled behaviour?
His mother.
Mention Jenova (or anything to do with cells or head) and he goes into a frenzied killing spree.
He spends half his life (in the game/movie whatever) going "okaa-san okaa-san".
Which really sounds like a little kid who has lost his mother in the park.

What does this mean?

He has a mother complex.

Now to a mother, this is all sweet and nice.
I mean, come on, Sephiroth pretty much changed his whole life, killed a whole lotta Shinra troops and burned down Nibelheim for his mother's HEAD. Let's not talk about the body yet.
The world of FFVII will seize to exist if Rufus Shinra had said "Oh ho, but you only have the head, SephyBaby... Let's see you find the body!"
BUT, if you were looking at him as a possible psycho husband...
It's probably not going to work very well.

And another problem is when he spawned into three seperate guys of equal 'hot-ness' and 'psycho-ness'(FFVII:AC)... it seemed to me like Square Enix seperated Sephiroth into three different prominent aspects of his personality (You know, what makes him 'tick')
Now, it was a good idea if they had stopped at Kadaj and Loz for one represents his strength (Loz) and the other his craziness (Kadaj). (Again, that's how I see it)
But the problem lies in the fact that when Yazoo first made an appearance in the trailers, I went "Woohoo, pretty villain-girl!"
Sephiroth is pretty, yeah, but to think that that was the third side of him...
Was HILARIOUS.

Anybody would do a double take at that.

And even if you decide between all three of his spawn, you gotta remember this...

They ALL have an intense mother complex!
