Today's memory is...

... the time when SJ and I were obsessed with Avenged Sevenfold.
Our love for them at that time was during the release of City of Evil and it was more intense than it is now.. (and our love for them now has me walking halfway across Sepang to get the special edition Revolver magazines, with them on the covers, out of customs).. so you can imagine the intensity of that obsession.
Anyway, SJ is also somebody who likes Good Charlotte.. as opposed to me who has more than a few words to say about them.
She messages me and tells me that Shadows and SynGates is featured on the song The River.
So I break all my rules about Good Charlotte and listen.
It was a decent song.
I actually liked the vocals and the instruments.
I was changing my opinion about Good Charlotte when all of a sudden, Shadows and Gates come on and seriously, to me, they totally pwned GC's ass with that short few seconds.
It's like listening to Backstreet Boys and have Avenged Sevenfold interrupt.
Seriously.

The other thing is, Ferrari is totally pissing me off.
I'm sorry.
I know there are countless Ferrari fans out there for I see the sea of red at every GP.
The problem is... there seems to be this obvious bias-ness whenever Ferrari is involved in some form of scandal.
First, we have the team orders and all they got was a $100,000 fine.
Seriously?
Now, Massa was so obviously a few feet past his grid line in Spa and they're taking no action? This wasn't even before the warming lap... this was before the race officially started. Which means he gained a few feet on the driver next to him and is technically a jump start.
And that Whiting person, who so quickly pointed out Alonso's previous jump start said he didn't notice it? Was he taking a nap, or what? Then he says the sensors didn't notice it.. and so the only action they're going to take is to make sure what went wrong.
Oh come on.
Ferrari is making the sport a little less fun for me.

Hitz.fm playing loads of Raya songs that I like.
The other day it was M. Nasir. And, since young, I've always loved that song.
I remember working the Petronas event in KL Convention Centre and one of the performers was M. Nasir. I lurked outside the doors of the hall where he was rehearsing just so I could see him sing live. XD.. Needless to say, I got loads of strange stares because I was supposed to be setting up and here I was standing by a door just doing nothing.
Perhaps, I really do like M. Nasir's songs.
