Anyway, it was overall a fun trip because
- Definitely one HELL of an experience and I mean hell, literally.
- We won 1st place for the rakit race, performance and Living Shelter competitions.
- My Ecorace group won 1st in the Ecorace Challenge... my activity was 'Anyam Ketupat' so I now can weave a ketupat :)
- The seniors were crazy and they were practically entertainment on legs.
- Sneaking out of dorms in the middle of the night and avoiding the bloody prefects and security guards for supper.
- Wasting the electricity and water in the dormitories because we paid money.
- Perfume Che Che is totally into Wendy XD
- Eating Dunkin Donuts on the way home after three freaking days of LOUSY food was enough to complete the trip.
It wasn't fun because
- Alot of last minute changes in the plan.
- The food was worse than jail food. At least the stupid jail has ikan kembung.
- The dorms were stupidly hot and the first thing I saw when I entered the room was a stupid spider.
- The bathrooms were shared and things that shouldn't be mentioned were present.
- No hot water.
- Too many spiders for ONE shower cubicle (4)
- We actually had a curfew! Oh for God's sake! We're not babies.
I'm sure I have alot more but I'm too lazy to think of complains.
One of the fun parts was waiting for the guys to finish the rakit race. When the rakits were seen around the corner of the river.. somebody yelled 'RAKIT!' real loud and everybody rushed to check it out and we took forever to discover that it was our rakit group leading. When we did notice them we started screaming really loudly and ran towards the finish line. The safety people had to hold us back or we might have fallen in. The guys were quite injured XD Thingy's arm was scratched to hell and back and blisters were everywhere on their hands. The scratches was because they ran into trees XD. One guy got hit in the head by a branch and fell right off.
Our lecturer initially thought we were trying to trick her into believing that we were leading because we lied to her about Raymond fainting before.
The other part that I really had fun in was the performance night :) Most likely because it was the only night where we didn't sweat like chickens performing a dance. And they were really good. I'm so proud of them T_T Anyway, they had one part where Ah Tung, John and Ting Fung was supposed to crowd around the fire (cause they were acting like aboriginal baboons) and they accidently put out the fire XD So they had to light it but they left the lighter in the fire box. So when it came to the part where Ah Tung and Ting Fung did their wushu fight scene thing, the lighter exploded in the box and it really gave a really cool effect to their dance though it was a mistake.
But, of course, the highlight was Raymond as the Banana Queen (Raynana for short, okay?). He TOTALLY looked like a chick, no shit man. Sorta anyway. He appeared with the cloth half covering his face and most of the guys in the crowd was going 'LENG LUI! SEXY!' and all that bullshit. They really got it all thrown back in their faces when Raynana took the cloth off his face and revealed a completely flat chest. And then he did a split XD I nearly died laughing.
Perfume Che Che was quite a highlight too ._. Perfume Che Che is this guy who dressed like a girl from one of the colleges and he's called that because supposedly he looks like those people who will approach you to try on perfume in malls. I first found out about him when Johnathan and Wendy (by the way, he's a guy) asked me whether that person was a guy or girl during breakfast. When I said it was a girl, they all went loony on me and Johnathan was rambling on about seeing him in the dorm bathroom with just a towel around his waist. He looked pretty disturbed.
Then as we were leaving on Sunday, Wendy came up to me looking like he was bordering into dementia because he saw Perfume Che Che's panties XD!! He freaking wears panties!! And supposedly, Perfume Che Che said bye to him from his window XD! HAHAHA! Then they started calling Wendy, Perfume Haryanto, in the bus XD (Haryanto is his surname. He's Indonesian).
Then! When we were eating real food in Dunkin Donuts, guess who we saw? XD! Perfume Che Che! Wendy walked in and I think he nearly died.
The trip was fun, overall. Alot to improve host-wise. First, they should try cleaning up the dorms.
I really missed my Mum during the three days. I kept messaging her and calling her XD
I wouldn't go again next year. I swear.
Had my first Japanese class with my new teacher Kobayashi-sensei just now. Moriyama-sensei was moved to the KL branch. T_T.
One of our new classmates just returned from Hokkaido and she gave everybody this thing she bought there. I'm very grateful and thankful that she gave it to me too but I gotta say one thing.. IT BLOODY SUCKS! :S
It's this preserved scallop thing.
Nee On: It takes alot to disturb me. *brings out scallop*.. but this disturbs me.
Lyd: Eat it now!
Nee On: o_o
Lyd: Go on! Go on!
Nee On: No way!
Lyd: Okay, fine! I'll eat it but you gotta go refill my Coke for me, okay?
Nee On: Right on.
-after refilling-
Lyd: *takes a bite* URGH!!!!!!
Nee On: You didn't even bite it off!
Lyd: I can't! It's so freaking hard! WTF is this?
Nee On: Stuff the whole thing in your mouth.
Lyd: *hesitates...* *stuff it in*
Nee On: :S
Lyd: *is almost dying*
Then I made him eat it too. We were both pretty disturbed.
Lyd: I love Japanese food and all but damn it! These Japanese people eat everything!
It's as if they tried to cover the fishy smell of that scallop crap by putting too much salt in.
So freaking salty and the fishy taste was still not covered.
I needa go do my work now. XD
I haven't even started my 1:20 model yet.
I'm so freaking screwed. I hope I can finish it by Wednesday :)
