ME ME ME! :D :D :D
I entered the shop and was sitting around (disturbing Claireeey) when Jessica looks at me and says 'So, Lydia, which day do you want off next week?' and I was just staring at her like 'o_o'. I said 'Tomorrow' and she said 'Okay'.
And, no, I didn't take tomorrow off for nuts. My sister is graduating and I was in a dilemma about whether I should go to work in the morning or night. Now, I'm not going at all :D :D
I came home and practically floated into the house. I think my brother was wondering why I came home with so much energy.
Yay!
Lyd: Ooh! Dude, like my new top?? :D
Bro: No. Makes your boobs look bigger.
Lyd: ._.
Bro: *stares harder* No, actually, makes your boobs look smaller.
Lyd: ._.
Bro: What?
Lyd: *whack*
[As a response to Claireeey's remark about my bossiness at work.. I'm NOT BOSSY, yo.. You're the only who 'terasa' LOOL!!!]
Anyway, you wanna know who I think is bossy? My damn brother.
He leaps upstairs with his guitar.. Plays some song while headbanging on his own in front of me without saying a single word. And then tells me to 'Go learn the bass lines!!!!!'. And then leaps back downstairs leaving me wondering what the hell he's going on about. Uh, okay.
Gorgeous has been sitting on her stand for a long time, anyway. (I haven't had the time to play since I started work). Better clean her first. Bet she's covered in dust now.
Don't ask why my bass is a female. It just is!
[Also, as another reply to Claireeey's post saying that she 'wonders how I stayed calm when I'm more short-tempered than her'. Dude, I'm a good liar, you should know that by now. I was mentally slicing that little girl. Much satisfaction it brought me, yes it did]
About that little girl. I swear, I've never seen a better victim for murder. Seriously. She's a walking invitaton for murderers. Namely, me (if I was a murderer). Her mum, older sister and her walked into the damn shop asking for dresses. She kept walking up to me, trying to stare me down (when I was twice her height) and telling me 'I want WHITE! And I want it to be sexy'. I was staring at her like 'Dude, midget, you ain't sexy at all and no dress will ever make you sexy at this age' but I didn't say that. I smiled at her and ignored. Her Mum wanted blue and she wanted white. We spent FOREVER looking for dresses FOR THEM. Seriously, shop yourdamnselves.
Yay! I wonder what to wear tomorrow. I think I'll wear my purple dress and my purple heels.
I haven't been dressing up in so long. Aaaaah~ I can't wait to wear something else besides jeans.
I wanted to cut my hair tomorrow but my Mum isn't free T_T I don't wanna go alone!
Argh!
I'm watching The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
I seriously only watch this show for Stuart Townsend (He played Dorian Gray which is my favourite literature character EVER... double the hot-ness :D). He's so hot. HAVE YOU SEEN HIS BLOODY ARMS?! HOLY CRAP THAT'S PRACTICALLY PORN ATTACHED TO A BODY. *ahem*. As I've mentioned, he's really hot.
I liked his little roll in Will and Grace. He was the 'pansexual pastry chef'. Bloody funny, I tell you.
Talking about favourite literature character... don't you have one?
I like Dorian Gray, the dead girl in the poem Annabelle Lee by Edgar Allen Poe, the ghost in Lewis Carroll's Phantasmagoria, the heart from The Tell-tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe, the 12 princes in The 12 Dancing Princesses by the Brothers Grimm.. and so many more strange characters like this. Yes, the heart is a character. It's not a person but the heart was the main point in the entire story and without the heart the story wouldn't be what it is and that's why it's a character.
I really do love literature. I don't really like Shakespeare though. He's so mainstream. Anyway, I love the fairytales by the Brothers Grimm. They wrote the original Cinderella except that it was actually titled 'Ashputtel' instead and it was not as fairytale-ish as Disney's version.
In Ashputtel, the ugly sisters try on the shoe too except that one couldn't fit her heel in and the other couldn't fit her toe in. And so they chopped off the heel and the toe to fit it in. I was so excited at that point. So much better than Disney's version. After reading the original, who wants the Disney cartoon? Seriously, fairytales are much darker than Disney would like you to believe. Do not be fooled by Disney. They are mocking us.
Anyway, Ivan is tired now.
He wants to sleep which means I'll be sleeping soon too :)
