Yesterday, Friday, I woke up at 8:30 AM. Loaded all my music into my MP3 player (because I forgot the night before). By the time I finished loading my music it was 9AM and I needed to bathe and finish packing.
We left around 10AM. Had to turn back cause I left my phone at home. Thank goodness we weren't on the highway yet.
We arrived in 45 minutes. I have no idea how fast my Mum was driving, honestly. We checked into the hotel and after unloading all our shit into the room we drove my brother off to the golf course which was 10 minutes away because he was gonna have a round of practice with his friends.
We had lunch there for a bit then my Mum and I decided to drive around to check out the place. Our hotel was at Teluk Kemang so we just drove around that area (as our bearings aren't always right). We stopped by a public beach and had some cendol cause we were craving anything cold and sweet. Then we found an unoccupied hut under the trees by the beach and so we sat there and enjoyed the breeze. We ended up lying on the table. Then, after we've had enough we drove off back to the hotel for a bit of a nap. I woke up when my brother arrived back in the room announcing that he is going off to swim with his friend. I took a short bath and then Mum and I went to the hotel's beach. Walked along the shore enjoying the sunset.
When we were done, it was time for dinner and my brother was already up in the room all clean and hungry. We decided to have dinner in the hotel due to bearing problems. After dinner, my brother went with the same friend off to the arcade. Since Mum and I was not interested in playing arcade games, we sneaked off (without telling the boy) to the bar by the beach and had a beer. Halfway through our beer, my brother called and asked us where we were. Darn, thought we could lose the boy, huh? Tough luck. He came along and insisted on joining us so my Mum reluctantly got him beer too.
After the beer, we retired for the night. But, as always with my family, there's some problem before sleep. My brother had a really bad shoulder ache and we were trying to cure it before his competition on Saturday (today). Finally we administered hot water treatment. Burned him a couple of times by total accident but it relieved the pain. Gave him some medicine to relax his muscles and finally went to sleep.
Saturday, today, I was woken up at 9AM. I woke up hungry. Breakfast for the first time in a long time. I had alot for breakfast. By the time we were done it was around 10:30AM and we had to drive my brother off to the golf club for his competition. There were alot of people by the time we arrived. All the Korean boys were already practicing their stuff on the course. Korean boys on the golf course usually means my brother would come home with new curse words in Korean. Gentlemen's game, my arse.
Then, after lingering around for a while we had to check out of the hotel. After grabbing all our stuff out we decided to find out where Port Dickson town is and we found our way there and back just fine :) Nothing to see and buy there so we decided to go back to the same public beach. This time, we just sat on a bench and played Sudoku under the trees. For some reason, my Mum calls these type of trees that we sat under 'Yam Yam Trees'. Or 'Yum Yum Trees'. She says it's something Dad said. Hmmm. What were they doing under trees?
Anyway, it was time for a late lunch so we drove back to the golf club and had lunch there. By 3:30PM the first flight arrived back from the course to everybody's surprise. What were they playing? Speed golfing or... what? They only started at noon. That was an awfully short game. We had to wait another 30-45 minutes for the second flight to return back. Second flight being my brother's flight. He says the first flight was way ahead of them.. by two holes, I think.
Anyway, my brother was pretty pleased with his game. He played 1 over par with two eagles. Then, he looned away with his friends until the prize presentation ceremony. After counting everybody's score, he ranked second. He claims that if he hadn't made a mistake at the last two holes (I think it was a bunker problem) he would've been able to beat his friend for the first spot.
I was really bored waiting for the ceremony to start and I started to notice the place was infested with Koreans, somehow. They were walking in and out. Then, I remembered Claireeey and I decided to message her with a 'Wish you were here' mocking message. I did not fail to let her know that the Korean boys were running around free. BUT! Claireeey, it was a junior competition, meaning under 18, meaning they were WAY YOUNGER THAN US. No hope, honey.
FINALLY, it was over and we went home.
Oh, and I feel like I may have lost a lil bit of weight. I'm not trying to make myself feel better but I had to keep holding up my pants everytime I walked about.
When my brother walked over to our table after talking to his friends I asked, "Where's the Korean friend who teaches you the swear words?". He said "Oh, he wasn't invited for this event.... but there's another one teaching me stuff. I know how to say pussy in Korean :D". Nice. Really. Nice. And my Mum was right there. He tried teaching me but he couldn't pronounce it properly himself.
That's my weekend. I might be slightly tanned but I think nobody would realise cause I'm the only one who's super sensitive to the tone and hue of my skin. I'm darker but it's not that bad. I brought along tops with low necklines on purpose cause I was afraid I might get tanned and if my boobs didn't get tanned along with the rest of my skin, it'll be really stupid if I wore a plunging neckline top with a brown neck and white boobs.
