This is Lydia who is currently satisfied after a dinner of beef stroganoff (made by me and Mum!) brown rice, baby potatoes and red wine!

What happened was... in the afternoon, Mum and I realised that it's just gonna be us and my grandma for dinner and we were in a ditch wondering what to cook for dinner.
I opened our trusted recipe book and saw the recipe for beef stroganoff and suggested we make that so we decided to and it turned out really good. I suggested we eat brown rice cause... I don't know but I've been meaning to eat brown rice for a while now. The baby potatoes came in while we were out shopping for the beef and what not.
The red wine.. don't have to mention that was my idea. :D I love alcohol with anything.
I initially suggested we drink Vodka since we were eating Russian but my grandma nearly hit me with a frying pan (she is highly against us drinking anything alcoholic)
Lyd: Yo, Mum, stroganoff is a Russian dish, isn't it?
Mum: Anything that's 'noff', 'koff', etc. is Russian.
Lyd: Yeah, thought so cause it sounded like a Russian surname.
Then, halfway through, while I was pouring myself my second glass of wine my Mum asked "Where's Ivan?"... and I just stared at her and then she told me "Cause he's always posing with all our alcoholic bottles".. SO I retrieved him and snapped a picture of him with our red wine bottle. I told her that Ivan's upset because we woke him from his sleep to take a picture with a bottle and my Grandma told me to not be silly.
The name of our red wine was awesome "Cassilero del Diablo".. hehe.
I would translate it as 'Cellar of the Devil'?
Anyway, after I told my Mum what it meant we started talking about poems and stuff and she said that I've always been interested in poems since I was young.. which is true. I'm still keeping the 'Children's Book of Verse' book that my Dad bought for us from London. It holds the very first fictional love story/poem that I read. And I still love reading it now and then :)
I'm gonna go now cause I'm currently attempting to beat the fastest time recorded on a virtual jigsaw puzzle.
[EDIT: I BEAT THE FASTEST TIME! Fastest time was 3:27.. I did 3:05! Now it's recorded and people will have to beat ME]
