So I watched "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging" today.. or was it "perfect kissing"? Who cares. The first indication that the movie was gonna be a let down was the fact that they changed the name... and did that stop SJ and I from watching it anyway? No. We wanted to pay homage to our favourite book so we watched it and you know what, I can't believe they changed so many important parts of the book. Robbie never wrote a song called "Bitch in uniform" or some shit like that. It was the dolphin song which he sang to her with his head on her lap. And Georgia was never into her family and never cried for her father to come home from New Zealand.. she wanted him there permanently.
All in all, "Angus, Thongs and Full-frontal Snogging" is the better of the two. Stick with the book.

Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR.
For the first time, I decided to spend the eve at home and not at some party.
And I've been drinking with my parents and my grandmother to pass time.. then it was the New Year and my brother decided he finally wanted to come home from his party.
SJ asked me earlier today, "Do you wanna watch the fireworks?"
And I replied, "No.. too lazy to crowd"
And she said, "Me too! My parents are gonna watch"
At that moment, I felt like I aged 50 years. Her parents decided to crowd for fireworks and the two of us young people just want to stay at home.
Then, Michelle messaged me when I got home, "Whatcha doing tonight?"
And I said, "At home for some rest and relaxation"
And she said, "But it's New Year's Eve!"
Yeah, thanks Michelle for aging me another 10 years.
Anyway, I'm too pooped to do anything.
I'll go pubbing with her another time.
For a drink or four.

There's a new shop in Pyramid. We walked in. It's some copycat 'Japanese fashion' crap store.
The lolita dresses were hideously coloured. SJ was walking around and the shopboys were trying to sell some stuff to her and he said "How about lolita?" and I started coughing with my back to them. Yes, SJ understood the coughing.
Seriously, these local stores should start realising that there is such a thing as overkill even with Japanese street fashion. It's nice that they're trying to create replicas of the gothic punk/lolita clothes but seriously, take a close look at h.Naoto, Metamorphose and all that and study!

That day, SJ said the something really scary. "I'm gonna turn 21 in 5 months".
Maaan, I've barely enjoyed turning 20 and she's already getting ready to turn 21.
Yeap guys, we're growing old.

Usagi-hime-chan is doing well, I heard. I'm glad :)
I wanna see her soon. Leo-chan's dog is fascinated by her.. which can turn a little hairy sometimes.
