I remember...

... when The Fast and The Furious came out while I was in school.
All these teenage girls suddenly became obsessed with modified cars and illegal racing (because of pretty boy Paul Walker, I swear).
All of a sudden.. the greatest car in the world.. was the Nissan Skyline.
All the boys wanted one and all the girls wanted a boy who had one.

Yes, it's a Skyline. Prince Skyline ALSI-1... decades later, it will find fame.

Mental diarrhoea

I got the weirdest captcha yesterday.
Oh, no.. weirdest for me is still 'WTF'.
Lol.. exactly what I was thinking.

I don't think much about people who spend all day dreaming about being somebody else.
Lines like "I'm so jealous!" or "I wish I was him/her" or "Why can't that be me?" do not leave a good taste

And lately, everybody I know owns a DSLR.
Whether or not basic camera knowledge is there is questionable but we won't go there.
Why the sudden craze?
And everybody is considering going 'pro'.. all photographs are labeled as "*insertnamehere* photography"
Then you hear of things like "I want a DSLR.. "... ("Why?")... "Because everybody has one"
NO, really?
Then I hear of shit like "We're going on a photography trip... Maybe you don't want to come la because everybody is bringing their DSLR and you only have a digital". [Wasn't said to me obviously because I believe this guy is still alive and kicking]
NO, really?
Personally, I like pictures and I like photographs.. and I've seen good photographs. Photographs that have emotion/life/meaning. Most of these photographs I see on Facebook and the like are just that. Photographs. Stuff that most can do.
It is very easy to compose a pretty picture but it's another thing altogether to capture the moment perfectly.
...
Who in the name of lurking octopi is stomping above my head?

If you don't know, MTV is having this World Cup of Rock thing going on where fans can vote for their favourite country (Depending on where your favourite band is from)..
Somehow, Dir en grey was chosen to represent Japan (maybe because they have more exposure than the rest)
They pitched them against Germany's Tokio Hotel.. needless to say, it was not a tough decision for me as I have alot of things to say about Tokio Hotel that will make their fans come after me with knives - screaming murder.
But, in the article, they wrote (and I quote) "But can the blitzkrieg delivered care of fans of Tokio Hotel be enough to overcome the surprising surge by the fans voting for Japan (mostly on the strength of the Japanese metal contingent, lead by legends Dir En Grey)."
A fan of Dir en grey, I am. A big fan.... but 'legends'?
In my opinion, HONEST OPINION (and you may beg to differ) Dir en grey is hardly worthy of legendary status yet. Even if this is in the Japanese rock scene context, Dir en grey has a little bit more to go before they can be declared legendary. There are many bands in Japan that can be called legendary for forever changing the landscape, and I don't just mean X Japan either, but really Dir en grey is big and popular but I really doubt they are legendary yet.
And 'metal'? Dir en grey is rock, through and through. Maybe it may seem to be bordering on metal but they are definitely not metal..

And another thing that I'm going to pick at MTV about...
TOKIO HOTEL?! Didn't you say this is the 'World Cup of Rock'?
Why in the Lord's name did you people pick Tokio Hotel?????
Obviously this was more about popularity than it was about being ACTUAL ROCK music.
I'm very sure that there are BETTER rock bands in the country than this Tokio Hotel!
To begin with, I've never really thought of Tokio Hotel as rock. I just remembered seeing them and wondering why the lead singer looks like he's trying really hard to look VK... and why he sings like he's in a boyband.
(This is where I run off as what I said earlier about fans screaming murder still stands)

I love this paragraph

Excerpt taken from The Call of Cthulhu by H.P. Lovecraft..

Chapter 1: The Horror in Clay

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, the we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

And that's how the short story started.
I can read the paragraph again and again and still find truth in it.

After 9 episodes of Ouran High School Host Club

I'd like to say a few things...
  • The magic monkeys conjuring up banana peel whenever? What?
  • Why were the convent girls major lesbians? I'm from a convent as well.... what does that say about me?
  • Do people really like twincest yaoi?
  • I find Tamaki senpai so far in the closet that he's in Narnia.
  • The OP song has traces of Avril Lavigne's song.. trust me.. in fact, there's an entire rift that is practically copied.
  • Poor folk bashing... I wonder which is worse.. gay bashing or poor folk bashing...
  • How'd the 'manager' get all those hydraulic ramps installed without the knowledge of the club?
  • Hescafe... probably the funniest brand name change in anime.. besides all the lame attempts at changing McDonald's.

However!
I am finding the show hilariously stupid.
Oh, I have snorted, laughed out loud, fallen off the chair and the like so many times, I have lost count.

[EDIT: Ep10 just came on... OH MY GOD THE DAD IS A LADY!]

Cleanliness is key

After a whole month of scratching, itching and general monkey-like behaviour from me.. regardless of time and space.. my Mum dragged me off to the doctor.
And here's pretty much how it went, in a walnut-shell:
Me: I think I'm allergic to dust.. or dirt.. or anything that has specs in it.
Doc: Lemme see your skin... *looks*... Ah, it's 'fung mok' (My doctor is Malay and he pretty much gave me the results of his inspection in Chinese.. which I did not understand)
Me: .... what?
Mum: ... Aaaaaaaaah. Is it?
Me: .... what?
Doc: It's your sinus. Sinuses can only go three ways.. One, your nose.. after that, it either goes on to your lungs - asthma - or your skin which will cause allergic reactions.
Me: ....
Doc: I'll just prescribe some anti-allergy pills
Me: Will it ever go away?
Doc: Very hard to say... Migrate to a cleaner country.... *mumbles something about dirty Malaysia*
Me: ... again what?
Doc: Heh.
Me: ....?
Doc: Heheheheheh.
Me: -______________-"
He also told me not to use any chemicals on the places that itch.
Which is everywhere. Which rules out ALL POSSIBLE SUBSTANCES I USE TO CLEAN MYSELF.
I'm gonna be gross! XD Green smoke is gonna emanate from my body in a few days due to the stench.
Screw that shit.. I need to bathe.

After that, Mum dragged me off to the supermarket (where I finally managed to convince my Mum to buy Rice Krispies!!! CRACKLE SNAP POP!!) for the week's grocery shopping. You should have watched me poke the potatoes in my lame attempt at picking good ones without actually holding one.
I call Nut to tell her that I won't be at home like originally planned and I thought I'd tell her about my doctor telling me to migrate to a cleaner country.
We had a good laugh about it until... she hollered "CLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIRE~!"
And there I am on the other side of the phone going "WTF?"
She went "Lydia's doctor told her to migrate to a cleaner country"
Wow... Nut is a live broadcast as well! XD
Then she came back on and said "Claire can't stop laughing now"
Claireeey.. were you really laughing at me? D:
And Nut, just so you know, Ivan can touch me JUST FINE without me breaking out in massive rash.

Oh, Shadow caught some paint on his hands today.
I had a brief panic attack.
Good thing the paint came off.

People seem to respond in disbelief when I tell them that I'm allergic to dust/dirt.
Seriously, I'm not making this shit up.
All I did was step into the 3D Workshop this morning and immediately I felt the itch start at my ankles.
And then my arms started to itch. SO BAD.
Then my forehead and chin.
By the time I came home, my back had started again along with my stomach and legs.
I doused myself in water before going back out.
I can't even dry my hair because Lord knows what comes out of the hair dryer.
Suddenly thought about it.

RESULTS.

I'm so afraid.. SO SO AFRAID.

Lately

The more things seem to be better.... The more they are not.
Nothing is normal anymore.

That's what annoys me the most.

Life, interrupted.

And another thing...
Don't complain and whine about something that you brought upon your own self.
Gosh... nothing annoys me more than hearing that.
If you think you are smart enough to do it in the first place, don't turn around after it's all said and done and complain about how you feel 'cheated' and 'used' because it's only going to fall on deaf ears.
Don't say "I'm going to be independant" when you can't even manage your life yet.

Pretty much slept the entire day

And then I woke up to an infinite series of sneezes.
I swear I was sneezing for an hour.
Am I sick, am I not?

Yesterday, after posting about Schwarz Stein, I got a little nostalgic and decided to listen to all their stuff.. and then I stumbled across a very forgotten file titled "Hora".
(Hora is the guy who composes the stuff)
I shove the few tracks into my computer and all memories of 2005 come rushing back (Mostly of me and my meditation).. (Yes, I used to meditate to that type of music.. whatever soothes you right?)
Then I realised that it wasn't a one-off thing and that he has consistently released stuff since going solo (2005) and downloaded everything.
I just don't have the Reign (2008) [Send it to me!] and the latest one coming out end of the month.
Then I read his blog post stating that Wisdom (2010) will be the last album.
Apparently, from what I understand.. he has a sickness.
OH MY GOD.
I've probably never felt more crushed.

Anyway, I'm not in the mood for much today.
A little tired of listening to complains.
Gosh.
A person's life would be so much better if they stop making everything their problem.
Funniest line about Toshiya, I've EVER read.
Regarding his half bald look - "Toshiya decided to act like britney spears, but then stopped halfway"
http://www.jrocklondon.wordpress.com/
LOL!!

Was driving home just now and the song Transient by Schwarz Stein came on...

Yes, they are both GUYS

I don't think I've ever talked about them.. as much as I talk about the others..
I'll let the song speak for itself. (Audio is a little messed up)
I first heard it in 2004.
I loved it from the first beat.
When I listen to music, my imagination gets going.. I always have a picture, a scenery, a mood, a situation etc. in my head when listening to music.
This song gives me a dark, decadent.. slightly sinful picture.
In 2004, during my first listen I actually imagined a slow motion rave party.. SOMEHOW. I'm not too sure why. Nowadays, the slow motion rave party has been pushed into the background. XD
Schwarz Stein's music is not something I fangirl about.. but everytime it comes on.. I get shipped off to my wonderland.

Idiots

Woke up this afternoon/evening to read the headlines saying they are going to tear down the Pudu Jail walls tonight.
First reaction was What. The. Fxck?
No, really.

Did they say anything about wanting to remember the walls?
Preserving a section?
Perhaps?
The mural is, after all, quite a landmark.
No.
All they say is tear tear tear... for road extensions because that area is very heavy.

I remember making this an issue in my second year essay.
I did my research and saw the monstrosity that they want to replace it with.
They want to get rid of a place with a story and a soul and replace it with an empty shell for profit?

At least consider marking out the original prison boundaries?
Like they did with the Berlin Wall.
Do something that will remind people that there was once a prison in that place.
Not just any prison but a prison with infamous inmates and a prison that has lived through the darkest times of the country.

I've always found Pudu Jail very interesting.
Because the first thing I was told about the prison was "The paintings on the walls are very pretty"
And all this wonderful stories about how wonderful the paintings are and how it was painted by the people 'living' inside.
And then I found out what a prison is FOR... and found it really interesting that it is encased in beauty but the inside is the complete opposite.
Talk about trying to paint a pretty picture, huh.

I've said this once and I'll say it again... If a country cannot even begin to appreciate buildings steeped in history then what is the point of trying to build to make it look like we're a first world country?
There is nothing wrong with preserving heritage buildings.
There is nothing wrong with converting the interiors into modern day spaces while preserving the exterior.
They do that all over the world and yet, they can't do it here?
Must it be one or the other? Why are people so narrow minded when it comes to this?

Something tells me this won't be the last heritage building to bite the dust.
Watching episode 14 of Gokinjo really made me cry.
Not the storyline but the relationship between the grandmother and P-chan.
It made me cry because of the fact that I don't see my grandmother at all these days.. despite the fact that we live in the same house.
Trust me when I say all this is not worth five minutes of anger.

If I have to choose...

L-Ecclesia R-Synagoga

I'd say Synagoga looks way cooler than Ecclesia.
Ecclesia et Synagoga is a sculptural depiction of the Church and the Jewish synagogue found on the façades of churches across Europe. (-Wikipedia)
Ecclesia - Church. Synagoga - Synagogue
Apparently, the veil around Synagoga's eyes is supposed to say that the Jewish people are blind towards the new.. uh.. something.. or another.
Time has robbed me off that bit of information D:
(Basically, the Jewish failing to see how awesome and great Christianity is.. which is why Ecclesia is look forward with riches (crown etc.) confidently and Synagoga looks sad and depressed with the Torah falling from her hands.. and that's the best I can do at the moment)
[For fun: The Torah falling from her hand always consists of five slabs of stone to signify the five books of Moses which is uh, very important to them.. I think]

Speaking of that (refer to chatbox on right panel)...
I finally found the name to a trilogy that I've not read for years.
I only remembered three words - Julian, Shadow, Game
So I added the word 'book' to those three and Google-ed it and I discovered it was written by L.J. Smith.
Chances are, I won't find those covers anymore.

I now have the Witch-King of Angmar as my wallpaper.
Although, it comes with an out of date calender on the right. What's up with that?

Bon Odori 2010

Date: 17th July 2010
Venue: Panasonic Sports Complex (Wasn't it called Matsushita Stadium?)
Gates open: 5PM
Event starts: 7PM
Event ends: 9:30PM

Do NOT cosplay.

Who's up for it?
I'm definitely going.
Asahi beer! .. already missed mine last year.

These game trailers make me want to watch movies. Seriously.

And everything is CGI.. man, if only they would animate more movies like this...
Guess I'll have to be happy with FFVII:AC... XD

I wanted to show but I was too lazy to embed and say "Watch from x:xx to x:xx"
So I screencapped whatever cool scenes I wanted.
It starts with a pompous coach marching its way into the city square.
One by one, all them medieval snipers get cut down.
Then the assassin marches in and the people in orange frocks make way.
And all the bodyguards get shot down as well... (Oh, at this point, we don't know who's shooting 'em cause this assassin has just been struttingwalking)
Pictures are in sequence so scroll really fast and view a very jumpy trailer.
The Assassin('s back)
And, ah-hah! The culprits! Now who killed who.
(Note: I am developing strange thoughts and feelings for the one with the mace) (Anybody who covers his entire face, wears vertical stripped pants and looks cool carrying a mace is tops in my book) Men in long coats, killing and running.. this is why I play the game! Not so much for this. And once again.. this is going to kill the layout.

And in other news...
LOTR plushies.
So freaking adorable I want to kill them.
(L-R) Frodo, Gandalf, Legolas and Orc.
From here = Nerd Approved
The website name says nothing about me!

Oh, and referring to my ongoing happiness/joy/obsession with the Nintendo 3DS...
I read a list of games that have been confirmed for the 3DS.
Off the top of my head..
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 3D *The Naked Sample*
Assassin's Creed: Lost Legacy
Final Fantasy (working title... what Roman numerical symbol that will follow is up for debate)
Dead or Alive 3D (another working title)
Kingdom Hearts 3D.
Resident Evil Revelations
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
The Sims 3
Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition (working title)
Mario Kart 3DS
A scene from Deus ex Human Revolution.
Initially, it was kinda 'meh' for me but after they showed the city.. I was leaping in excitement.
It appears as though the buildings are serving as the individual columns that hold up the giant platform above.
(I love shit like that)
So this is Raiden as the ninja cyborg thing.
A complete machine.. I prefer this to his MGS2 appearance.
People complained about his appearance before... (too pretty boy, apparently) but I loved it and I love this even more now.
It appears as though he is wearing eyeliner. He should be a VK band guy.

Right now, try as I might to now use any words that might make this blog 'unfamily friendly'...
I can't.
I cannot!
PHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARK!
(As opposed to shaaaaaaaaaaaaark)

As most reading this blog probably do not know...
The E3 Expo is currently ongoing.
And Nintento unveiled/revealed/gave the world the Nintendo 3DS.
If nobody remembers, I was obsessing over it when they first announced it.
Now, it's really going to be an obsession and Lord help me if I don't get my hands on it.

First of, as usual, two screens...
One 3.5 inch (top) and the normal sized screen (bottom)
It has a slide pad, which I believe functions like the PSP's analog stick.
And here's the BEST PART... 3D! WITHOUT GLASSES... *runs into hills screaming*
Apparently, you can even load those 3D movies and watch it.
Not only that, you can even choose the degree of 3D-ness in the screens.
They promise better graphics.. Wii-like graphic quality or a little less than that.
(Which is still better than the DSLite)
It has a camera on the inside and two cameras on the outside.
You can take 3D pictures with this thing.
No kidding and no shitting.
And then there's this whole deal of DS to DS communication that has been upgraded.. which means Nintendogs will be a little bit more fun? I don't know, the article mentioned Nintendogs (and cats).. I don't play that.

I was excited about all of that until...
I read...
That the guy of Metal Gear Solid fame... is experimenting!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Metal Gear Solid in 3D? Has all my dreams come true? Snake in 3D?!
Now, I don't care what functions the damn thing has.. MGS! (No, not Methodist Girls' School)
And then I read all the third party developers who are supporting the 3DS.
Rye-chan, you're gonna LOVE this-

Atlus
ActiVision
Bandai Namco
Capcom (If anybody loves any existing Capcom games, hope that the next sequel they put out (Resident Evil 6?7?8?9?10?) will be in 3D. Hah!)
EA
Hudson
Konami
Majesco (Cooking Mama in 3D, who's placing bets?)
Square Enix (This requires a whole entry on its own)
Sega
Ubisoft
(There're more but I only listed the ones who make the games I love)

They're all in!
Assassin's Creed in 3D?
Better yet, FINAL FANTASY IN 3D? I WANT I WANT.
I'm so excited now, you cannot imagine.
Is this going to be the only thing I'll talk about for the next few days.. uh, yeah.
(You know what, I'm kinda glad I held off on the DSi.. Now, I'm gonna channel all my finances towards the damn 3DS)

The only downside is, I'm kinda 100% sure that I will develop headaches from the damn thing.
#1 - I'm blinder than the blindest bad and I have very bad astigmatism that I believe will affect something.
But who gives a shit. NINTENDO!! (Yes, I've been very loyal to Nintendo for my entire life... except for the short turn to the PS when it first came out)

To SJ, your favourite game Twisted Metal has returned for PS3... LOL.

Currently, updating myself on all the stuff about E3.
The new Metal Gear Solid: Rising looks so damn good...
SHIT. As if I need more reasons to get the damn PS3.

For those of you who do not know, E3 is a gaming/computer/etc. expo held in Los Angeles.
Kind of a big thing, if you know what I mean.
The E's stood for something but I have forgotten.

Tuesday, June 15, 2010

Remember I was complaining about how the F1 site did the whole "Secret life of..." thing on everybody but Rosberg?
Well, they did one of him today.
:D FINALLY.

On the other side of my brain, I had a thought today.
Actually, no, I always have this thought.
What would the world be like in 1000 years?
How would everyday life be like for the people of 3010?
Would there really be sky jams instead of road jams?
Would it be jet engines powered by nuclear energy?
Or would the world just be gone?
Because we've killed it?
It's a topic that I can spend a lifetime on.
Personally, I like to believe that in 3010, there'll be a revival of the industrial revolution in cyberpunk-style.
Concrete will be outphased by metals.
Breathing in toxic waste will be something our lungs will be used to.
Cars will go from 0-120km in .3 seconds.
Life will be dim and dark... and smoky.
Neon and smoke.
Oh wait, that's life now.. except for the cars.
Alright. Forget that.

And on another brain...
I dreamed I was in an underground cave.
With some people, I don't quite remember.
Anyway, we passed this underground river/lake thing.. that seemed to glow a greenish blue.. (it could've been man made lights but it was pretty darn pretty).. and went through this little tiny hole that my claustrophobia reacted to (even in my dream my phobias are very strong), and came out into this huge cave that sparkled.
Everybody was ooh-ing and aah-ing and so I walked up to the wall and hacked into it.
And lo, I discovered gold nuggets.
PLENTY of gold nuggets. Oh, and silver nuggets to.
And you know what, they were shaped like bunnies.
...
I know.
I told my Mum and she asked me "What IS with YOU and bunnies?!"
I don't know, Mum. I don't know.

Stayed up late last night...

... to watch the Canadian GP qualifying.
Rosberg is starting tenth.
D:
Nevertheless, I am staying up tonight to watch him the race.

Now, I'm trying to learn how to make dreads with synthetic hair.
Yes, I am gonna attempt a project.
It started when I wanted Masayo-chan to dye my hair a funky neon colour.
Then I realised, why dye one colour when I can change the colour of my hair everyday?
So here we go.
Gonna take a trip to the hair wholesale shop with my Mum tomorrow to see if I can get what I want in the colours that I want.

Also the banners found plastered all over the site and in your face, are links as well.
The pictures will tell you where they lead to.

Each item is 390yen.
That is around RM14-15, I think?
And there are ALOT of crap.

Discovered the link in one of my Kera magazines. Found it funny that it's called "Thank You Mart'...
(There's a shirt that says "NY Don't ♥ U" which is really hilarious)

About the trip...

... pictures will come soon.
For now, endure a verbal description.

Day 1
Bus took off at 9:30AM.
Landed in Harbour Front at around 1-2PM.
Had to lug my bag around Vivo City until 4 something 5PM. Developed massive muscles as a result.
Found Bobble Head Sauron.
Saw Bunny Bag and Shark Bag.
Was in Page One.. discovered all the Tolkein books that I have been looking for. Why don't we have them here? Idiots.
Went home to SJ's aunt and uncle's house and had dinner with her other aunt and two cousins.
Went out to Woodlands for a walk after dinner. Discovered Cotton On was having a sale. SJ got two cardigans and I got one.
Slept really early.

Day 2
Left early for the photography exhibition in the Japanese Creative Centre. Got very lost and received help from a nice taxi driver. SJ is now very taken by the Sugizo picture. I absolutely died upon seeing the X Japan pass the photographer had put on show. We enjoyed ourselves there and seriously, the building itself is a great example of conservation that people here should take note of but that is a whole other story.
After that, landed in Bras Basah (No, no.. not 'wet bras') It started to drizzle and realised in horror that I forgot to bring an umbrella.
Found a museum of toys. Had loads of fun in there. Nearly died when I discovered I had stepped unto the see-through floor that saw through two floors. Didn't realise it until SJ tried warning me by saying "Oy".. looked down and my knees went jelloid. Had to sit on the couch before my legs regained muscle control.
Sat in Basheer for the longest time just looking at books and feeling happy.
Had lunch.
Took the MRT to Orchard where we remained the rest of the day.
Shopped some more. Bought Yoshiki's Eternal Melody II, X Japan's Blue Blood and Dir en grey's Uroboros album.
Never knew Singapore had Uniqlo. Discovered it and bought a top. :D A very long grey tank top that was the result of Uniqlo's 'collaboration' with Alice in Wonderland.
I ♥ Uniqlo. (which is a Japanese clothing brand, in case nobody knew)
Also discovered a really nice shop hidden in some alley in some complex. It was a local brand and I bought a really big, loose top that has graffiti materials silk screened on it (Spray paint, brush etc)
Had dinner with SJ's aunt in Ion.. (I love that mall, I really do)
Walked abit more before returning home.

Day 3
Tried to go look for my Shark Bag and failed.
Went straight to Vivo City where we dropped off our bags at the Aeroline place.
Bought Bunny Bag and Bobble Head Sauron after much debate.
Had some cake before returning home.

And that was all.

I KNEW IT

I knew they wouldn't kill off Noodle!
I knew this Cyborg Noodle was a temporary thing.
Came home from class and saw Murdoc's tweet..
(Read from bottom up)
You kinda need to follow the story since El Manana to know what the 'hell' thing is all about. Basically, Murdoc went down the hell hole in Kong Studios to look for Noodle.. whose voice could be heard over the ancient radio thing in the boiler room.
Well, Kong Studios is now no more and they're shacking up on some plastic beach.. called Plastic Beach (made of trash.. seriously, there's some eco message masked in typical Gorillaz style)
There was an earlier tweet from him that had a link to a Dutch website (can't read a thing) that had this video up.

(It's gonna screw up the layout again, I know)

Hello there~

I'm finally back online.
I've not been connected to the internet since Tuesday last week when I left for Singapore.
I returned to find not only my modem fried but my computer as well.
A few hundred bucks later, everything has returned to normal.
I would like to move to a place that has no storms.
Which is impossible, I know.

Many things to note about the past few days, particularly about my trip to Singapore.
The exhibition, the toy museum, the shopping etc~
The strange things I returned home with - the bunny bag and bobble head Sauron (both of which tickles my funny bone)

But for now, screw blogging. I have loads of manga downloading to do. Not to mention visiting the DEG OHP to find out what magazines I might want and LMagazine's webpage to see if they're doing more food-oriented issues (I feel so sad that I missed the Osaka sweets issue)

Bye.

It's 7:11AM.
Gonna go bathe and do last minute packing.
I forgot to sleep and here's why...

SHAMAN KING

I finally read the ending.
Something I have been unable to do for awhile.

Yoh and Anna have a kid... Hana.
Who at the end of the series is aged 6... while his parents are like 21.
Which means, Anna got pregnant at like.. freaking young.
Which is slightly outrageous but I don't really care because Hana is adorable as heck.. and violent.
And who would've thought Ren ends up with that Iron Maiden girl.
And is it me or is HoroHoro really hot grown up?
Poor Manta didn't grow.

I can't believe I forgot to sleep.
I spend a whole year being sleepy.. and when I can sleep.. I forget to sleep. Fan-bloody-tastic.

Anyway, Singapore, here I come.
Grandma put some cash on my bed while I was sleeping in the afternoon.
Woke up to find cash and thought, just for a moment, that I was paid a visit by a very generous tooth fairy.
She told me to go buy myself something nice if I see any.. which is what the parents told me to do as well.
Something tells me this is their 'Congratulations on struggling through' gift. Anyway, thanks! Though, it probably won't happen LOL.
