Woke up this morning to discover that our dog left us in the night.
RIP Brandy.
On a lighter note, SJ and I are going out tomorrow because I want to see Nico Rosberg in his car and she wants to see books in a shelf.

It's always this way!
When~
You're trying hard to do work.
You've been working on this for days on end with no sleep.
You've been secretly/outwardly wishing that humans will mutate to a point where we require no sleep... tomorrow.
And all of a sudden~
ALL YOUR AUTOCAD FILES GET CHANGED INTO READ-ONLY FILES.
And when you've fixed it...
IT HAPPENS AGAIN.
Fantastic.
I'm honestly speechless.
Curse you, AutoCAD, curse you.
What's so 'AUTO' about you anyway?
Besides the fact that we don't get butt-cramps from sitting at a chair too long doing manual drawings with ink and the T-square.
But my butt AND hand are getting cramps from sitting here to long clicking.
Ooh, my aching back.

Don Partridge - Breakfast on Pluto (1969)
One of my feel-good songs.
Always puts me in a good mood.
(Loved the movie Breakfast on Pluto as well)
Go anywhere without leaving your chair
And let your thoughts run free
Living within all the dreams you can spin
There is so much to see
If you can't fly high
No need to feel low
The world is a merri-go-round
Look at the sky, and up there you'll go
Peacefully floating along
No cares to care and no races to run
Flying up in the air
no time to change and no time to learn
and no time to wonder where
Up on the moon
We'll all be there soon
Watching the earth down below
We'll journey to mars
And visit the stars
Finding our breakfast on Pluto
Go anywhere without leaving your chair
And let your thoughts run free
Living within all the dreams you can spin
There is so much to see
No cares to care and no races to run
Flying up in the air
no time to change and no time to learn

My dog is sick.
Has been for the past few days and it kinda came as a shock because he was all dandy until he wasn't.
All seven.. okay, six.. are feeling sad/down/upset/stressed/lost about it.
My grandma.. is.. not doing so badly.
Parents took him to the vet today and well, it kinda did some good but he kinda deteriorated in the evening.
I feel so upset.
Now they are talking about 'aiding' him.
It kinda pains me to think about it.
I wasn't around when Whiskey was 'aided' (to a killer cancer) and it killed me even though I was sitting in the middle of an arcade.
I don't know what I'll do this time around.

In one of those moods
Lately, I've been thinking alot about my school days (you know, because my years are coming to an end). Not my college days but the time I spent in primary and secondary school.
People know that I've never missed school and I really don't.
For one thing, I don't remember much of my years in Standard1-6.
Just a few bits and pieces.
I think my head has been too deep in Yonder all my life.
It's the reason for everything. The reason why I'm a hermit and the reason why I space out all the time.
*sigh*
Truth is, I've always felt more comfortable when left alone to my imaginations.
I might end up a lonely old woman but at the moment, I enjoy when I can just sit and imagine things and think up nonsense.

:D
When Petronas announced that they were gonna be involved with Mercedes.. I secretly hoped that they'd do some show thing that will bring the drivers to Malaysia.
Apparently, from what I read on TV, it is coming true!
I glanced at a little big of BM that read "Rosberg dan Schumacher... Rabu... sekitar KLCC"
I know that they would've arrived for the GP anyway but I'm not going for the GP so...
:D :D :D :D :D :D

Saw these images somewhere around...
Don't know if these are real or not (didn't bother checking XD) but oh, man.. FUNNY AS HELL.
"1st place half a lap left! Only lightning can stop me now!"
"son of a bitch"
HAHA! It would've been funnier if all Yoshi tweeted was 'Yoshi Yoshi Yoshi'
And then have a "RT @babymario WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
(If you don't play Mario, you won't get this)
#IHadUKen?!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Also, the most original username ever.. "CatcherintheRyu", huh?
(If you don't get this that means you don't play Street Fighters and that means you're losing out on something)
Note that the first tweet says "7 years ago".. I found that so amusing.
And Navi is annoying.
(This is Legend of Zelda and it's a classic!.. NAVI IS ANNOYING!)

I was just looking at pictures of Japan highways and recalled the journey to visit my Dad's friend. We travelled a few hours out of Tokyo and took this really long stretch of highway that extended into a bridge and back into a highway. It went from concrete jungle to fields.
Then I started recalling all the high points of my trip there.
Then I started recalling all the high points of my trip there.
- Waking up at 6AM to travel to Hakone where we took a cable car up a mountain. My knees gave up halfway through but the jungle below was quite nice.
- Walking into Tokyo Hands was a whole experience on its own. Shopping in it was another. The Gundam shelf was mesmerising.
- Disneyland. Where I discovered I didn't hate roller coasters, ghosts do not exist in theme park rides, ducks have alot of freedom in Disneyland and Mickey & gang spoke Japanese.
- Tokyo Tower's wax museum. The torture chamber was particularly frightening but I liked Dracula and Frankenstein alot.
- Stopping by a rest stop along the way to visit (I do not know if it was a visit or a meeting.. seriously) my Dad's friend and having lunch. Best food I ever encountered in a rest stop. Also the cashier lady was sporting the best, most poof-ed fringe ever.
- Learning origami from my Dad's friend's wife once we finally arrived at.. where was it again? Gunma?
- Spotting a hide cosplayer in Harajuku. You can't forget the red hair.. I was too young to know hide then but I never forgot that girl.. now I know it was a cosplayer cosplaying hide.
- Akihabara. My little geek girl came alive. 1yen handphones FTW!
- Manza. Manza. Manza - Snow. The little guy trying to snowboard. Sticking my head out the window during a blizzard. Onsen. The gift shop in the hotel. Washing Duckie in the bathtub. Wearing the yukatas (we have pictures, oh no)
But my favourite-est memory was the first night. Walking out in the middle of the night to the roadside ramen stall and had the best ramen till this day. The food was amazing.
I do miss that.
And I think most of us in the family missed it too.
Christmas there was nice.

Yaruki ga nai (No motivation)
If I'm ever going to be known for something, it'll probably be the fact that I've never followed through to the end when I start drawing something.
I draw when I'm -
1. Stressed
2. Bored
3. Down
4. Happy
5. Pensive
Drawing gets me out of those moods (Except the #4).
And the moment I'm out of those moods, I can't seem to continue drawing the same picture because how I feel and what I see becomes completely different.
Here are a few of my incomplete drawings.. you'll totally get what I mean.
I don't quite remember where this one came from. But I do know what the final outcome was supposed to be and I would say this is only about 10% finished.
At the moment, it's a disembodied head.
I drew this after reading a magazine.
I think I unconsciously copied the cat from somewhere. I may have changed a few things but the form looks TOO familiar to me to be my own. I'm sorry.
This is probably about 50%.
Okay, you know what.. Let's consider this one 100%.
TRY TO GUESS WHAT I WAS LOOKING AT WHEN I DREW THIS?!
It was supposed to be a mouse, mind you but became a rabbit.
I drew this after a nerd session with Rye-chan.
I forgot to draw shoes.

I looked at my work, said "SCREW THIS SHIT" and drew this.
The bottom half is still under construction and has been for the past 5 months.
No shoes.
Yes, I like drawing girls.

I forgot yesterday...
... VIDEO GAMES LIVE IS COMING TO MALAYSIA.
17th April, KL Convention Centre, Plenary Hall.
Yes, Yes, YES TRIPLE YES!
Who wants to go? :D
For those who do not know, Video Games Live is an orchestra.. event, thing.. that plays only music from video games.
When I first came across it, I was so surprised that something so perfect exists. As I am a fan of both orchestras and video games, it just seemed too perfect.
I checked their new event dates a while back and realised that Malaysia was not included, again.
Then Rye-chan came online and told me they were coming and I almost leaped out of my chair in excitement and joy.
I am DEFINITELY going!
A little while ago, while watching telly.. my opposite neighbours' God-forsaken chihuahua was barking at nothing again.. as it always does.
We ignored as we always do since they brought the damn thing home.
All of a sudden.. seemingly from nowhere.. 'SHUT UP!!!'
._.
Holy crap! A neighbour has FINALLY lost his temper.
I reckon it's the house next to demon chihuahua's house.
I always say it and I'll say it again.. I HATE RAT-DOGS.
I read an interview with someone who used to work in the VK industry.
They work like a bedazzled yakuza clan.. no joke.. I mean, if what he said can be trusted.
Anyway, then he mentioned "East Extacy and West Free-Will'... I have not heard that IN AGES.
That means that Extacy Records (Yoshiki) control the east side and Free-Will (Dir en grey's recording company in collaboration with Sony) controls the west side.
Anyway, Dynamite Tommy is currently embroiled in some legal issues? If I'm not mistaken.
And whatever happened to Kisaki and his tax evasion?
Psycho le Cemu's vocalist and his drug issues?
Too many problems.
Too confusing.
VK is a money-making machine and according to the interviewed guy, that's EXACTLY the point. It's not as if they even try to hide it.

In point form cause I'm sleepy...
- Went to Kinokuniya today
- Picked up Kera and a magazine about sweets found in Kyoto..(rather, Hyogo, Kyoto and Osaka). I got it for the shop designs.. awesome nice. (Oh, and the sweets)
- Went over to Amcorp Mall for the opening of the bookstore.. forgot what it was called. Bought Tolkein. Finally found all three books without the risk of having different covers cause it's all ONE book. CHEAP CHEAP. RM29.90~!
- Yay.
Lately, there's been many people asking me who Nico Rosberg is.
You know, the guy I support at every F1 race.
... Well, WATCH AND FIND OUT! :D
Something I recently...

Hyakujitsu no Bara Ch16!!!!! :D :D :D
Downloaded, unzipped and read.
Yay!... but one heck of a cliffhanger.. damn these cliffhangers.
Everybody already knows how I love to zen myself out with Kitaro right?
In fact, as I was recalling yesterday, I got so zen once it was more stoned than anything else.
So I dug into my folders of Kitaro's music and discovered long forgotten favourites (the ones that stoned me).
Dawn in Malaysia and Heaven and Earth are works of a genius.
Dawn in Malaysia, I think, is quite unknown because it was his earliest of works but I reckon Heaven and Earth is quite known.
(Random fact: I read somewhere that the name 'Kitaro' came from GeGeGe no Kitaro?)
The video is kinda weirded out but the music isn't.
He came to Malaysia a few years ago.. I was so excited I was going on and on about it to my Mum and THEN... ticket prices killed me.

Things that made me smile or made me snort.
Saw this headline over at BBC News.
Made me smile... :)
Team's quantum object is biggest by factor of billions
Don't get me started on anything quantum.
Then I was reading Dir en grey's Mobile Q&A over at The Dir en grey Diaries and saw this.
I don't know whether to stare in awe at the answer or to just laugh.
Subject: To Die-san
I began guitar. But my pinky finger doesn't seem to respond the way I want it to! It doesn't have power and the joints cramp. Please tell me a method for training/building up the pinky finger.
Die: Maybe if you did push ups using your pinky finger it would get stronger, right? But I think you'd break your finger.
No, really?
I finished reading Gokinjo Monogatari.
I do like Ai Yazawa when it isn't Nana. I have nothing against Nana and I have read and watched it all but I do feel like she upped the drama card a little too much in Nana.
Gokinjo and ParaKiss on the other hand, has a good amount of drama without going over the top.
I cried like a baby.
No, I did.
Every chapter. There's something touching about the scenes that she draws. It's simple but it manages to just get to you.

I found this tweet this afternoon
#whenifirstmet @twixt_arcana it was the first day of school in primary 1. She was bossy and gave me the nick name 'nat' that kinda caught on with everyone else till now, idiot! Love u
I laughed like a loon in a congregation of loons.
For the notepad: I was bossy. I did boss the Nut around quite a bit.
For future friends' reference: I AM BOSSY.
Ask Claire.
LOL..
Sometimes, it just takes so little to make a person feel so much more
Yesterday was the interim crit for our sectional/prototype/detail part of our project class.
I slaved away for an entire week rushing to finish a model that my tutor said I 'won't have enough time to finish' and that it'll be 'incomplete work' and as a result of that I 'will definitely fail and come back next year'.
After having said that, I took it NOT as an insult but as her lame attempt at reverse psychology and psyched myself into believing that this is a do or die situation.
So I worked very hard.
I work hard most of the times and somehow I always get shot down.
I arrived for presentation in time and was all prepared for put-downs, let-downs, insults, harsh criticism and etc. I literally girded my loins, no joke.
I sat talking to my group mates for abit before SeohHun arrives and says "Confirm, Ms. H"
That meant they switched the tutor and all of us got a different tutor to present to.
I think the joy was pretty obvious as everybody was prepared for bad comments.
I was the fifth to present and although, I have much to improve on, it made my day when she said that she likes the mood of my space.
Why? Because I worked really hard at trying to show that mood.
I did and re-did my ceiling 3 times to get the lighting right.
I felt so happy after that, I didn't even bother sleeping.
And then I fell asleep in Japanese class.. thankfully, unlike my previous sensei, he didn't go "LYDIA-SAN OKITEKUDASAI! HAHAHA!". Phew.
But he did say something to which my sharp brain (that I try so hard to keep in control in class) responded to.
He mentioned something about Monash students being really smart.
Then he says "Ah, Lydia-san wa KBU desu ne?" (Ah, Lydia goes to KBU right?)
I say "Hai, demo watashi no atama mo ii desu yo" (Yes but I'm also smart)
Somehow, someway, everybody found it funny and it sent them into stitches of quivering laughter for a bit.
In Malay, one would refer to me as "Terasa"
I baked my strawberry shortcake. I kinda failed at the whipping cream part (as I always do) but overall, it looks quite nice :D
Then I took a VERY cold bath and I'm currently blogging with a rose and pine mask (that I bought along with my strawberries this afternoon) on my face under the air conditioner. Who agrees that Malaysia's weather is another fine example of Mother Nature taking revenge on us for wrecking her baby Earth?

Love.. I know what it means. (Bunny Update #1)
It means being able to stand it when her claws are too long and are digging into your shoulder.
It means being able to do work full of joy while fluff is lying on your lap asleep.
It means not complaining when love takes a massive collosal DUMP on you.
Yes, all, the bunny has peed and pood on me.
I looked down and was wondering why she seemed so relaxed...
.. only to realise that she fell asleep while I was doing work.
I like that she felt my stomach was big enough to embrace... No, she was hugging the SHIRT.
Yes, that's the shirt I tie-dyed when I was 14.
So I woke her up and tipped her over! Tummy-side up eggs bunny!
Yes, my pants are sleeping pants. Deal with it, it's comfy.
I came home from tutorial and gave her a warm bath in the sink.
She was okay until I brought it out into the cold air.
She was so fluffy after I blow-dried her.

Here we go :D Yay!We decided to name her Yuki Usagi. No, really, we did.
I wanted Spock.
Brother wanted Speedy.
Dad wanted Shintarou.
Mum wanted Hello (she claimed it was an easy enough name to remember and pronounce).. or JoJo, YoYo and Ooosh <- I'm serious (yes, she has a warped sense of humour)..
Second sister wanted Usagi <- the only one she can remember.
Oldest sister wanted Shiro (White in Japanese and 'don't want' in Korean.. yes, inter-language puns)
Finally, the oldest said Yuki Usagi (as in those rabbits that you make with snow.. snow rabbit, literally) and we all went.. "Hmm... Okay" and that's that.

Another EUREKA moment?
Now I know why Midgar and Nibelheim always sounded so damn familiar to me.
I know they are places in FFVII but I always felt I knew those names from somewhere.
They prop up in Norse mythology... they are two of the nine worlds (niu heimar)
Midgard - Human world (middle court)
Niflheim - World of primordial element of ice
Personally, my favourite is Álfheimr (World of Elves - Álfar) and Svartálfaheim (World of Svartálfa - Black Elves).
Yesterday, while at Tropicana City Mall.. I spotted little baby bunnies.
I came home and told my Dad and today, he hauled us out to look see and ended up coming home with one!
:D :D :D :D :D
I have something to love again!
At the moment I din't know what to name her.
I'm running through all names.... I might just name her SPOCK.
No, I'm kidding.
I know they are places in FFVII but I always felt I knew those names from somewhere.
They prop up in Norse mythology... they are two of the nine worlds (niu heimar)

Today, SJ and I took a very early trip to Kinokuniya.
I placed the most orders ever in one day... a total of 5.
I also finally caved in and bought a book that has recipes for all my favourite desserts. STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE. I'm so happy.
I came home, showed my sister and she said "When are you making?"
I showed my Mum and "So when?"
Nice. I translated everything into English (without a dictionary, thank you~).. you know, to avoid the unwanted "I DIDN'T SEE THAT BEFORE???" incidents that usually happens when my great eyesight lays itself on words unfamiliar. Let me just say baking terms in Japanese are so different. Something translates directly as 'thin strength flour' (cake flour). I was so confused.
I also very nearly bought a book on Quantum Physics.
Also, Kinokuniya has changed their book theme for this month to STEAMPUNK.
Hello! I love Kinokuniya. I want to go back for a book.

What I'm most excited about is Toshiya's bass guitar.
I fear I find the bass sexier than the man.. whom I've been lusting over for the longest time.
What I found most odd was that Toshiya's hair resembles those Korean guys... :S
But hopefully, if I get it, he will show some arm and that will take the attention off the hair.Mmmm.. Arms.
I think SJ and I have reached the maximum level of lezzie-ness.
As you can most likely recall (Unless you don't read this blog, you have a mild case of Alzheimers or have recently fallen over, hit your head and lost half your brain) SJ and I recently sculpted a Hydra.
She just messaged me saying "Oh, if you want pictures of our baby Hydra my friends posted some on Facebook"
Our baby Hydra
What in the world...?
You know, if SJ and I spawn... the result would be the odd-est, craziest, most peculiar-looking thing that will somehow resemble a bush baby and sound like a cross between a Nazgul and a fangirl-ing Japanese highschool girl.
... Yeah, that pretty much sounds like a Hydra.
So I replied "Don't call it OUR BABY HYDRA"
She said "But I call it baby. And its ours... our first time together"
Now I think she's doing this on purpose.
I said "I would like my first time to be with a guy thanks"
And she confirmed "I totally did that on purpose"
I know.
It just puts you off the entire day...
... when your bloody alarm does not ring to remind you to START your bloody day.
I woke up past noon today when I was supposed to meet everybody in college at 10AM to go for the fair.
Never in my LIFE have I overslept when I was supposed to meet people to go somewhere.. especially when it comes to school stuff.
I'm so very annoyed.
Then, I initially thought I'd make a trip tomorrow but found out it ends today.
I wish I could swear/scream/beat a cactus.

If only there was a way to scream in glee over the internet.
For I will.
Alice in Wonderland was so awesome, I don't think SJ and I were quick enough to find the proper words to describe it.
Bloody fantastic.
Worth the wait... of over a year and a half.
We were both weeping at the end.
I thought it was touching... and it might have been tears of joy as well.
SJ - "I'm going to watch it everyday until the DVD comes out and then I'm going to buy it and watch it everyday.. I'm definitely going to watch it again"
That's a little excessive but I'm definitely watching it again.
My Mum wants to watch it so we're definitely going.
It was so well worth the money.
(In my opinion)
F1 next weekend. Getting closer. I'm an excited person!
Yesterday, I watched a fan-made film called The Hunt For Gollum (or something) and it was ACTUALLY quite good. You know how one immediately stereotypes these lower budget fan films as a disaster waiting to happen? This one was actually impressive.
(It's when Gandalf tells Aragorn to search for Gollum... read the books to find out more)

Hahahah
If nobody knows.. on 4chan, one goes anonymous.
The yaoi section of 4chan never fails to amuse/amaze me.
The girls (or boys hmm, like I said, anonymous) there are really into non-con!
No really.. they make EVERYTHING gay. If I ever wondered "Why aren't there any BatmanxJoker?" I will go to 4chan.
If one is familiar with all the sub-genres found within YaoiLand...
You'd notice they are also really into 'bara'.
No, it does not translate as ROSE. That's a different 'bara'.
EW! I just saw Spiderman getting... nevermind.
Just know that I said EW. XD

When I was a kid, the only kids' show I watched was Sesame Street.
Almost 15+ years later, the only thing that I remember vividly and still love was the crayon-making.
I was never able to re-watch it again because I am pretty sure I watched it on Saturday morning (I don't know if there's still Saturday Morning Cartoons anymore.. but back then, it was on every weekend).
I LOVE YOUTUBE.

It's a shark. It's a hand. No, it's a hippopota-what? Snake?
SJ came over today.. late.
We immediately got to work on her seven heads.
I sculpted the seven heads and she worked on giving Darling Hydra some scales.
We attached the seven heads and gave each other a high-five! By the time the hands went 'slap', the time was 5:30PM and we went "Oh Shit!" so we immediately started clumping the remaining clay together to make the detailed head.
Out pops the Lord of the Rings artbook in which, she claims, she saw a conceptual idea for the Fallen Beast head that she wanted to do. Don't mess, that shit was hard so we swept up the idea and dusted it under the rug.
Ended up sculpting a head that invited unwanted remarks.. :S
Grandma: Oooh, shark!
(Before we attached the seven heads, she looked at the smaller Hydra and said "So many fingers")
Brother: Hipopotamus? <- he was just being an arse. Anyway, her Hydra, in some angles, looks like it has seven male organs instead of heads. This, of course, caused us to crack many unnecessary jokes.

Somebody needs to learn how to spell.
Bord XD
Favourite part is "Oh god I hope you don't breed."
