Yesterday was the party.
Not too sure what went down but there was a whole lotta yelling, shouting, clowning, dancing and drinking... and oh yeah, some people got abused by the plastic boppers they gave us before midnight. (Boppers being the things that go 'bop bop bop')
The only one who got some action was Raymond who, through my drunken, blurry view, got a nice one planted on his smacker by Phillip.. I don't think I was THAT drunk to hallucinate that scene.
The thing that did me in was the last mug.. where, some idiot thought it was a good idea to bottoms up. Didn't kill me as much as the time I bottoms up-ed whiskey with my grandma but it made me feel queasy. So I danced it off. It always works. Trick I learned from Nut.
(I think it's funny how the one person who doesn't drink taught me a trick about drinking)
Then came the countdown, 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2----1~! And the DJ started playing 'Tanggal 31'.
I think I will not live to see another day where people dance like maniacs to that song.
The boppers went 'bop bop' and I was wondering why the bopping became more intense.. only to turn and realise that my friends ushered in Merdeka by hitting their friends with the boppers... so I joined in.
It is always fun to abuse friends.
Anyway, after that the party went crazy.
And we all went home at around 1-2AM because some people couldn't stay out too late.
:( Gonna miss them crazy people.
And I cannot believe that the few of them was so surprised when I said I used to be cheer captain.
What?!
That's the ONE thing everybody knows because I never fail to mention it.. (Only because it is possibly the one paradox no one will expect and because I'm proud I made it as captain)
They were trying to do elevations and failing at it so I went up to tell them where they were going wrong... in local terms it is referred to as 'beh tahan'.
So someone asked me something to the effect of 'How do you know?'
And I said 'Because I used to be captain'
And the reaction was loud. LOUD.
Urgh.. teaching people how to do elevations was the worst for me because I was a spotter and had to teach people without showing them how.. which was quite disastrous.
I'm thinking that there will be some virtual reminiscing tonight... in the form of a blogpost.
I'm listening to Tarja Turunen's album.
It's beautiful.
Her voice is amazing.
I love Oasis.
Everybody should go listen.

Gah. I hate reformatting my computer.
This time round, though, I had not much of a choice. It literally SIZZLED and hung yesterday.
I tried reformatting it to avoid having to loose any form of money and I'm thinking it might've worked. Not sure, it still needs a test run.
I had to re-install everything from AutoCAD to Corel Sketch Pad to the Japanese language bar.
It is such a pain in the behind, it is unimaginable.
Today was my graduation ceremony.
Yaaaaay.
Us third class graduates sat at the back of the IAD lot and miraculously (!) I was placed between Raymond and Nut! (not so miraculous as it was in alphabetical order)
Yaaaaay.
Upon entering the area outside the ballroom, Nut and I took a picture.
I asked "Do you have a picture of us on the first day of Standard 1?"
She said "I might have"
I have always found it amazing that Nut and I ended up going to the same college, studying the same thing and in the same class and ending our academic lives on the same day was kinda nice.
And it's nice that I still call her Nut/Nat after 15 years. Nice for me, not so much for her.
Raymond said he felt nervous before going up on stage to receive his certificate.. I was just worried about falling down or that stupid hood thing falling off my shoulders (I could not keep it straight).
If you asked me, I wanted to wear the Master of Philosophy robes. It was so badass with the white stripes and all. The Bachelor in Arts' robes was this green and yellow things on a blue hood. :S
Taking pictures was another problem.
I'm not a smiler and smiling beyond 10 seconds for me is quite a pain in the bum unless I'm drunk/having fun.
The photographer was such a weird fellow that he kept making me laugh and then he'll say "Okay, too much. Smile less". So I smile less and he says "Okay, please smile more" and so I'll smile more and he'll repeat the before.
Finally I did my spastic smile and he accepted it.
I'm gonna end up looking really spastic. This is not a picture we want to send to the relatives.
The robes was fun to wear, though. All flowy and Harry Potter-ish.
Made me wanna whip out my wand.

GP TONIGHT.
Rosberg qualified 12th but I heard something about a 5 grid penalty because of a gearbox change?
Anyway, can't wait. Spa is a fast circuit. Exciting~

Is it me, or is the sun scorchingly hot?
I remember my Mum telling me that the sun here does get hotter during the summer months and it gets rainy during the winter months and the leaves do fall in bulk during the autumn months...
I've always wondered if it was true.
If it was true, though...
I wish we were below the equatorial line now so that it will be rainy NOW.
Sometimes I wonder whether I'm giving people an incurable disease unconsciously due to my decisions.
Why, then, does everybody have poles up their arses about it?

Almost finished with the basic shapes of all the 3Ds.I actually think it is a little rushed and not all aligned but you know what, I really couldn't be so perfect right now.
My self-set deadline for my portfolio is next week and now it's almost like it is impossible to meet that due to the fiasco today.
Argh! So much for trying to make my portfolio better than anything I've ever done.
The companies will probably look at my portfolio and think "She isn't serious, is she?"

So I was browsing...
.. my picture folder when my eyes were assaulted in a really good way by a picture I had not seen in a long, long time.
And when I say long.. I MEAN LONG... long time as in, since I started college.. (and I've already ended college)
So, when I laid eyes on this particular picture, I got a joy that only comes when you accidentally lay eyes on a picture of a very gorgeous person.
The last time I enjoyed this joy was when I drove past this billboard...
But.. the picture I'm talking about is less blond, definitely less Caucasian.. and probably has a time zone that is +10 from the above's local time..
Yes.. as usual, it's Toshiya.
But it's true that I haven't seen this picture in ages.
I stared at it for the longest time.
Man, has he changed!

したくない!
A nice distraction...
This is pretty much what I've done over the course of 3 days.
This is from the manga Sukimasuki by Unita Yumi.
A completely strange manga about a guy who loves to look through small spaces and imagine things.. and how he looks out his window and peers through his neighbours slightly parted curtains every night. Well, peeping in other sense and fantasizes about the girl on the other end.
The picture above is abit of a spoiler to the story... so I'm just gonna type it.. highlight the text below if you want to know what it's about..
You eventually find out that the girl is a compulsive spy and has a vast collection of photographs she took of the peeping guy (in a variety of awkward poses and positions) plastered all over her wall.
It's a happy ending, by the way. 3Dのことはやっぱりめいわくになるよ。
でも。。しなければならないだね。。もうつかれた!
じゃ。
(すみません、漢字のことがちょっとわからないからぜんぶひらがなだけ。ごめなさい)
(I should blog in Japanese more.. maybe it will improve)

After years of delay, I finally watched Howl's Moving Castle. (Never read the book, I should do that)
And I love it~
Even my brother enjoyed the half that he watched.
I love the soundtrack, as usual. You just can't go wrong with Joe Hisaishi and Hayao Miyazaki together.
I knew I would cry, so I was trying really hard to hold it in.
And you know how one scene just breaks through your banks and it flows like Niagara?
I thought the scene to break my banks would be one full of heart wrenching sorrow and despair but NO.. it was the flower garden scene. Howl's secret garden.
And it was a joyful scene.
I have surmised that it wasn't the emotion of the scene but the beauty of both the scenery and the music that set me off.
After the show, I ran downstairs and literally threw my full weight through my brother's door and sniffed.
He looked at me all 'shocked-like' and said "WHAT?"
And then I started spoiling the story for him.
The only part that left me going "What the f?" were the credits.. when I read that Takuya Kimura voiced Howl.
Hahahahahaha.
Sorry.
I was thinking "Ah, nice voice"
I guess there is a difference when you take the face away from the voice, huh?
(Yes, I'm not a Takuya Kimura fan)
How did Howl's lose to Wallace and Gromit?
And I love it~

Currently reading a manga titled Usagi Drop by Unita Yumi.
It's really nice and sweet.
Contrary to popular believe, I don't only read Yaoi.
This happens to be about a 30 year old man, Daikichi, who takes in a 6 year old girl, Rin, who happens to be his grandfather's illegitimate child. He did it because he was sick of the olds' attitude towards her (concerned about what people would think) without thinking about her feelings.
It's so sweet.
As to why it's called Usagi Drop, I'm not sure.
But I only downloaded it because it had USAGI (rabbit) in it.
It's really nice and sweet.

What is all the fuss about Anne Rice quitting Christianity?
From her Facebook statement, I take it that she isn't denouncing God in any way but merely quitting the dictation that is organised religion.
She just doesn't want to have anything to do with all that crap.
I'm not sure why people find it to be such an interesting topic to talk about.
Shouldn't she be allowed to just make up her own mind without everybody hounding her for an explanation?
And why should she need to explain herself?
But I do share her point of views.
I don't want to have anything to do with the Church.
In fact, I've not wanted to have anything to do with the Church since I was 15.
The last few years of me going to Church was just me pretending to care.
And all of a sudden, I stopped pretending because you know what.. I realised my life was so much happier, richer and fulfilling without going to Church.

The amount of detail that is HIDDEN in the MG Wing Zero is amazing.
There's a person (Heero Yuy if you watched the anime), that I struggled to put into the cockpit (due to bad eyes it took me almost five minutes, believe it or not), that can't even be seen once everything is assembled!
The skeleton of the legs are chock-full of detail that is covered by the white outer layer.
It felt like I was assembling a REAL Gundam (in 1/100 scale, of course)
Best way to spend a morning.
And then the yellow bit on the head kinda snapped.
Lo and behold, the UHU glue got whipped out without hesitation.
All those years of model making has rendered my glue-ing skills to be quite amazing.
If you don't squint real hard, you wouldn't notice the thing has snapped! :D

Pi-Ka-CHUUUU
Yes.
Let's talk Pokemon.
I liked them back when there were only 100 Pokemon and the maximum amount of evolution that happens is only 3. And Pikachu only had 2. And the evolution only happens when u get the thunder stone. I think. From that city with the 4 storey PokeMart.

How times have changed.
According to my nephew, and I'm going to trust a 7 year old's knowledge in Pokemon as mine was quite vast as well (Note:WAS), apparently, the evolution process has changed massively since I last touched the Yellow Version.
Instead of 3 times, Pokemon now evolve 5 times!
And, apparently, Pichu...
Evolves into Pikachu...
Who then evolves into Raichu
How can this be??
What, were they tracking the Viridian Forest and stumbled across a cuter version of Pikachu and realised that OHMYGOSH Pichus were merely too tiny to notice before?

He was confused at my confusion.
I then said "Oh Lord, I'm old"
And it confused him even more.. maybe in his little child's head he's thinking "Yeah, you ARE old so why're you whining?"
I want to be 12 again.
I've always wondered if they named Pikachu after "Pika Pika" (sparkly) and "CHUU" (kiss)
And that Raichu is surely "Rai" (thunder) and "Chu"
So, what's PICHU?
Machu Picchu?
No. I'm not cracking myself up.

At least I now know what type of person I would never bother to get to know, care about or consider even thinking about.
Unfortunately, this time around, I kinda have no choice.
My little toe on my left foot is now bleeding.
I stubbed it after I stubbed my right small toe.
Story of my life.
I have no control over my limbs.
No motor skills.
It bled all over the floor (No kidding, I wiped up the blood) and I was trying to hold my scream in because everybody's asleep. It hurt like a bitch.
My sister helped me plaster it up because I couldn't move.
It was awhile before I could walk again.
I have finished Wing Zero HG.
Broke my back doing it today because I was doing it on my bed.
Next up, MG!

Gundam SD Strike Freedom - COMPLETE. Done while waiting for extended family members to arrive for my Grandma's birthday dinner.

ROSBERG'S TYRE KNOCKS HIM OUT OF THE HUNGARIAN GP.. I want to cry but I'm all alone with my uncle typing like mad next to me.
Day 3
I'm officially an "Ah Yi' (aunty). I've been one for 19 years but that nephew calls me by my given name. These are apparently too young to follow the same name calling concept (According to my aunties). WHY??? Young nephew becomes attached to me due to our shared love for Pokemon. Yes, you read right. He's 7, I'm 22.
