Aaaah~

On Wednesday night, while rushing my dissertation assignment, my monitor flickered and then *poof*.. OFF!
My initial reaction? ._.
My second reaction? OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was mild hysteria at 12AM.
Bordering on mayhem, if I might add. Solo, solitary mayhem, but mayhem no less.
I had a few thousand, note thousand, words to write and the MOST important part of a computer - without which all is useless, the monitor - decided to die on me.
I managed to transfer ALL my assignment files into my thumb (the gadget not the bodypart) in between the monitor's 5 second flicker of life.
Then I thought, I'd sleep and wake up early to finish it (mind you, that night, I came back from two cakes, a martini and a beer) and turned in early for the first time in a long time.
Then after 15 minutes, my heart started beating so hard I could've sworn it felt like it was gonna burst through my ribs and see the light of day. I'm not one to panic but I did panic.
So I woke my sister up and was all "Can I please use your laptop??"
She went "Mffh"
Okay :) Back to work.
Or so I thought.
After an hour of thorough dissertation concentration, I flipped the telly on and there ya go, they were showing Interview with the Vampire at 3:15PM. My mind instantly flicked the assignment switch off and turned towards the TV.
Yes, I do not like Tom Cruise but he was hotter than hot in that show. Antonio Banderas however, wins hands down. I swear, even if I didn't love the book already, I would've loved the movie for the men XD I'm sorry, you know how I am. The part where Lestat turns Louis into a vampire, and they were in some vampiric form of a passionate embrace, my hands were typing but my eyes, brains and full concentration was on the telly. I've watched it so many times and the 'so many times' I've watched it, it managed to capture my full attention. I love the show. I'm not gonna start comparing Twilight to it, it's incomparable (HAHA NUT). Thank GOD Anne Rice's vampires don't "sparkle". HAHAHA.
Then, it occured to me that I've only read Interview with the Vampire and even that, I read while at a bookstore. (Yes, I sat in a bookstore for HOURS and read a book.. all on my lonesome.. because I was bored and decided to ditch meeting 'somebody' despite being in the same location).
So now, my list of books has increased. :D I want the entire collection of The Vampire Chronicles.

Yesterday night, I stayed up till 6AM watching Dexter.
At first, I just wanted to finish watching the three last episodes until I realised that I kinda forgot what happened so I rewatched from the second disc.
I LOVE DEXTER. Let me take some time here to devote my love for Dexter.
The series is probably one of the few shows that I enjoy every second of. The intrigue, the mystery!
And his sister.. is amazing. Every word that escapes that girl's mouth consists of F's and more vulgarities.
My dad loves her too.. for the exact same reason but then I said "So, it's okay if I'm like that?" and he goes "ABSOLUTELY NOT!". Bias much, Dad?
Anyway, the ending was great. Especially the final line where he says something about him being everyone of us. Sort of like saying he represents our deepest darkest desires by killing the criminals and stuff.
The killing, I remember sitting there with my Dad watching the firt scene where you see him cut up the person into pieces, we looked at each other and went, this is a DAMN GOOD show.
And the music that plays is so upbeat and cheerful it hardly feels like you're witnessing a horrible murder.
Oh, so you guys get the idea that it's about a serial killer right? That's his hobby. He's a blood splatter analysis (or something like that) for the police. See how awesome it gets?

Masayo-chan messaged me just now all sad and upset and a little disappointed.
She just broke up with her man (as she used to put it) and tomorrow is her birthday.
Oh well, I'm gonna be celebrating her birthday with her tomorrow. It's dinner for us and hopefully, she'll be up for some alcohol as well.
18 IS the legal age right? I don't wanna get into any trouble for being the older one.

I'm re-linstening to all my old song collection (refer to JRock post below) and decided to listen to all my favourite early 21st century pop songs.
Darren Hayes' Insatiable wins hands down.
This is on my sex song list. (That list is a mile long.. includes Casablanca, Careless Whisper and One Wild Night XD)
I swear it is.
The beginning where he goes "ooh ooh ooh" makes ME go 'oooooh' and makes me all happy.. in an innocent way, you pervs.
XD And how much more suggestive can the lyrics get? Seriously, it's a good, romantic song about sex. Nothing can get any better than that.
He's gay, right?
I still remember studying for my PMR to Savage Garden's first album. Looping over and over again as I studied science. That is, believe it or not, a fond memory for me.

I wonder what's for dinner tomorrow.. :)
