I'm currently trying to write a few thousand words while listening to all my old JRock music.
Yes, I have not heard Phantasmagoria in a long time. Which reminds me, I never really did follow up on that Phantasmagoria-Vidoll 'graduation' thing. Then, there was that Kisaki tax evasion thing. Hmmm, is Phantasmagoria still alive? I really do like them alot.
Pierrot - another classic :D
I really will classify Kamijo's (Lareine) and Kirito's voice under the 'just like sex' category.
Even more when they wear tight pants. XD
And who remembers Sanaka from Fatima?? :D I will never be able to call him Kanoma.. even though he changed his name. Did you know he was called 'Hitomi' or something like that before he became Sanaka?
His voice isn't like sex but he was. XD
I remember Kinokuniya's present to me for Christmas 2005. The old issue of SHOXX where Kamijo and him were posing in passionate embrace. (Yes, I meant like 'sex' in a yaoi sense XD) Who would've thought that after half a year, they'd suddenly have an issue of that magazine out. I have it in my bookshelf now :D
Oh yes, I had alot of fun with JRock until it became too generic for me.
If you can recall, there were a string of emotional posts from me when I heard Lareine, Pierrot etc.. were breaking up.. rough times.. even Psycho le Cemu disbanded -.- and I quite liked them in an odd way.
Yura-sama was hilarious no matter what he did, drumming or dancing.
I still listen to the random Psycho le Cemu every now and then.. just for the kicks.
Same goes for AnCafe.. I didn't follow them after Bou left. It just wasn't the same without Bou.
If only these bands will decide to come back to live, I'd be the happiest girl in the world.
Then, just as I was getting to like Shulla they disbanded.
But the oldies are the besties... X-Japan, Pierrot, Malice Mizer, Dir en grey, Lareine, Luna Sea etc.
The bands from the 90's beat the new ones anyday.
Even Gazette, I saw them before Reita discovered his noseband and I liked them until that song.. what was it called SJ? Guren??? I forgot.
I can still remember all the songs I first heard from each... except, maybe Gazette.

Pierrot - Mad Sky... or something... my favourite is Neo-Grotesque though. That screaming = sex.

I studied history for my SPM to Yuuyami Suicide and I raised a perpetual G9 to a B3.
I was leaping in the air when I discovered Barairo no Sekai was the third opening theme for GetBackers.
And I mean leaping.
Malice Mizer - Illuminati (I think, again. Apparently, I don't quite remember after all XD)
But my favourite, excluding Illuminati is Bois de Merveilles and Kyomu no Naka de no Yugi.
Plastic Tree - Tremolo (Dreamy dreamy dreamy)
Phantasmagoria - Okay, I forgot this one. I think it was Pixy False, though.
Kagrra - Haru Urara (I was briefly transported back into the Genji Era or something)
So many other bands I like... D (Yes Asagi I Love Him ALOT), Merry, The Candy Spooky Theater, Nightmare, PanicCH/Panic Channel (Before the three T's left), Jinkaku Radio (Awesome possum in it's best meaning)...
Good times.
Then there was Dokusatsu Terrorist and their Doraemon song which was my theme song for a few months.
And Charlotte's diamond something song.
Due le Quartz was also great until they disbanded and Miyabi suddenly became Miyavi and then it was just MYV. XD
Blood, I loved their outfits. Nobody had better outfits than Blood! (Except maybe Toshiya's micro mini)
Speaking of micro minis.. back then, the crossdressing members really did look like women.
Mana-sama being the best of the lot.
He was so successful at it, he started Moi Meme Moitie... XD
I remember discussing JRock with Masayo-chan and she told me that she has friends who believe Gazette is the best and heaviest there is.. of course, in our opinion they aren't.
I still remember that the only reason why she started talking to me was to leech shit off me.
And she liked TenTen from KuRt for awhile.. she wanted to move to Japan primarily to shag him.. and she was only 14 then.
Me? I've liked hide and Toshiya from the start. No doubt 'bout that.
(And Asagi, Kirito, Kamijo, Sanaka, Kozi, Ni~Ya, Yura-sama, Kami, Takumi, Jun, Shin, Mana-sama, Tara, Sakito (Due le Quarts not Nightmare) etc etc etc. Trust me, the list goes on XD)
