Blah. Life is boring.
It was so boring that I decided to scare myself yesterday. See, I never finished watching that Mononoke anime (not Princess Mononoke) and it has alot of Japanese folk horror tales or something. Anyway, I found out they have uploaded till episode 12! And I stopped at episode 3. Had a good time watching it. The Medicine Seller is so cool :)!! I loved the episode where he got shocked.. finally! A change of expression. The last episode when he petted the cat with that really nice smile was also a nice change. Usually he never stops smirking.
Was freaked out till around 3 AM when I finally decided to sleep. Unfortunately, my bed creaks alot and everytime it creaked I open my eyes like this o_o.

Finally the Luna Sea tribute album thing downloaded. And now, I'm wondering why I bothered waiting. Not that I'm dissing the bands.. they're pretty good bands. But, honestly, I don't like it. The song Rosier which was played by High and Mighty Colour sounds like it's in a totally different key and it's very bass-heavy (the original is not) and when the female vocalist comes on for the chorus, Lordy, she sings well, don't get me wrong, but it just sounds annoying! The sudden transition from this totally rockish male voice into this JPop-y female voice is very weird (and quite annoying). But, honestly, I think this is the only song that I really quite liked out of the whole album. Ziggy did 'I for You' and... -__-" Nothing much to say.
They all sang well, seriously, but all the songs lacked something.
Rosier is the only song that didn't quite change. Out of all the songs that DID change.. I quite liked LM.C's version of In My Dream. And no, I'm not being bias just because Aiji is in LM.C. If you don't listen to the original version and listen to LM.C's version, it'll be nice LOL!
I still prefer Luna Sea. :) I hate the fact that I couldn't attend their reunion live.

Lately, I've lost my liking for soft-ish rock. And I've definitely lost interest in alot of JRock bands. They're starting to all sound alike, look alike, act alike, take pictures alike, and play alike. You can put five of the new bands together and I won't be able to tell them apart.
Even some of the older bands are getting boring for me. Rentrer en Soi lost my interest after three songs. Every one of them sounded alike and there's nothing interesting about it either. Vidoll is slowly losing my interest (and not because Jui is finally covering up his legs, okay), it's just that there's no difference in their songs.
The only bands that still have my attention is Dir en grey (definitely), The GazettE, D (seriously, I'm not bored yet), Kagrra, and all the older bands like Pierrot, Lareine, X Japan, Luna Sea, Malice Mizer, Moi dix Mois.. out of which, only Moi dix Mois is still producing new stuff -.- everybody else disbanded.
The whole JRock scene now is very 'whatever', as Avril Lavigne would say. (Can't stand that woman sometimes). SJ and I have talked about it many times, the fact that almost every one of them get famous just because they're looking good or they look girly. What they sound like doesn't matter. Also, they're losing good names for bands. -.-
I agree with Kaoru when he said he doesn't like the Visual Kei scene now. I don't either.

Wanted to drag my Mum to Pyramid today in hopes of getting some new clothes but she was busy. We shook hands to it, Mum!!
Anyway, we're going tomorrow. Only, now, my brother is coming along.

My 2nd of February has been booked :) Meeting with Don after so freaking long. When was the last time we met up, dude?

On the 29th, I've been invited to SJ's house so that she wouldn't be stranded alone. I'm only gonna go if Chris is coming along. Chris said she's going, even though she's coming back from church camp on that day... so I guess, I'm going too?

Urgh. Can't get over the miraculous butchering of Luna Sea's songs.
