I woke up at 10 AM originally with the intention of calling SJ as soon as possible and let her know the change in plans.
I woke up at 12 PM and called SJ only to find out that he has called her already.
So, since SJ told him that we won't be going, we decided to go to Cineleisure anyway to watch The Dark Knight.
Only to find out that they stop screening the movie at 2:30 PM. Who does that?
Like Claireeey says, 'What the hen?'
So we bounced our way to 1Utama to watch the movie. We managed to get tickets for the 6:15 PM show so while waiting, we ate some dinner and went to the bookstore.
FINALLY, we entered the cinema. I was so excited. 3 years of waiting.
As SJ said, 'Usually, people cheer on the heroes but I think people are cheering on the villain in this movie'.
I was cheering, trust me.
Halfway through the movie, I leaned over and ask SJ, "Is it wrong that the Joker turns me on?"
She looked at me loon-ish-ly and then ignored me and watched the movie somemore.
She said Samantha in Sex and the City reminds her of me.
Excuse me?

The movie was good. It was probably one of the better movies I've seen in a long time.
(It completely knocks Transformers off)
However, I do agree with Nee On when he said 'it could have been darker'. The Joker in the movie is disturbing and demented but I find that the comic Joker was a little bit more demented. But I will have to let Nee On know that if they had made the movie any darker and disturbing, people are going to file out of the cinema in a state of depression.
That is, if they absorb and think about what the Joker says all through the movie.
I like how this Batman isn't as 'super hero'-ish as all the previous Batmans because you can see the battle he's fighting within himself regarding the 'good and evil' and you can see how the Joker really agitates him and pisses him off.
Two-Face also makes an appearance. I knew they were putting Harvey Dent in the movie but I never thought they were gonna show how Two-Face came about.
Two-Face's bad side of the face is definitely better than the previous movies.
I hope another sequel will appear focusing on Two-Face.
But, I wanna know, did the Joker die?
Because it kinda ended with the SWAT team pointing their weapons at a hanging Joker but it didn't show them shooting him.
As far as I know, in the comic, the Joker has been 'killed' numerous times but never seemed to die. He better not die.
(It would've been cool if they had added Harley Quinn in the show)
[Also, it would be cool if we had gotten a glimpse of Arkham Asylum. They keep mentioning Arkham but they never show it!]

I took Ivan's dress off and everybody says he looks cuter.
I think Ivan looks cuter in the dress!

I feel like reading The Sandman now. Aaah~

[EDIT: There IS a third film... and it's gonna be The Riddler! Apparently. I'm fast with these things. Now I'll just wait another three years. Yeah. Thanks.]
[[And it's speculated that they're looking at Johnny Depp for The Riddler role. Yippee! A long wait this shall be.]]

And I meant to say this, now, we all know how hot Christian Bale is as Batman.
Ever seen him in drag? Watch Velvet Goldmine! Seriously. I keep telling people this and nobody believes me when I say Christian Bale wears make up in that movie!
They don't even know what Velvet Goldmine is.
